I was at the DC show as well. Capriati was amazing. I've had this tune stuck in my head all day. Can someone ID it?

Capriati was disgusting tonight in New Haven. Blew the roof off the place. Enjoy if you're going tomorrow. He doesn't let up.

Anyone else noticed the misspelling in the threat title (Capritati) & the fact that we're gonna get cheated out of 1 hour of Joseph b/c of Daylight Savings?

He played it last night I think... not sure what it is, but sooooo awesome.

Yes, everybody from the media was there, flash cameras everywhere son.
i ended up checking this out as i was making my way back home.
I got to hear 2 hour of his set. I thought he played a very predictable set. It was mostly big room techno and had that distinct Drumcode sound (which can get generic most of the time)
The party was packed and it got pretty down there when they don't have proper air conditioning. Cover was $40 at the door and $35 reduced. And I heard that the cover for the afterparty was 40/30. But I'm sure some of us here went to the afterparty here and can give us their review.
PS. Guys only dance circles really brings out the best in guidos.

Shame that Capriati is ruined in NYC. The wrong promoters got involved and now he's a guido DJ. Really need to go to Europe to enjoy drumcode it seems.

It's unfortunate to hear that this party was subpar. In New Haven he played a banger of a set, not predictable at all either. Dropped Calderone/Moudaber's "Journey Begins" at 4:30 and I melted. The club wasn't very packed at all either, tons of room to dance but still didn't seem empty.

the execution was solid though, and not having seen him before, will go when he comes back.
It's ok not to be blown away every time
Between this and Klock's the night before, Ostgut def. was the more interesting -- for me at least, it was on par with Sasha's there

yes, but only for the regular attendees.
With the SR wristband, it was only $20, so that was definitely acceptable for another 5h of tunes (assuming it ended at 10).
Kudos to endless and static for arranging it like this.
That new space is pretty good, worth checking out, floor not quite as roomy as where Reboot afters was, but liked it.
Only prob:
the lower floor level was incredibly hot, I measured about 88 in one corner.
Together with bottle water costing $8, and the cold-tap in the bathroom turned off, one has to wonder if that's intentional.
I doubt it though. The upper level was much cooler, some nice spots directly under vents, and good viewing vantages to the deck.
If anyone sees any pics/vids of this, who was that with the hat dancing behind JC and fanning him with a towel?
Sad to miss Subfractal this time, don't know if they did the opening, but were prob. closing out
JC did a good continuation from before imo.
Not as much open blow as at others, but the party-favor sellers were definitely moving material

Definitely enjoyed the style he played last night more than at the Music On party at BPM. I'd say the after hours set was the better of his two last night, much more diverse and exciting then at Sully. Didn't notice excessive guidos; yes both parties were packed and hot , but otherwise the crowd was fine, imo.

Lol , that was one of his Italian friends. He was hyping up his boy at the earlier party, as well.
