we appreciate the response, is there any reason why Sullivan Room was chosen outside of the other big 2 at the moment? (output and marquee)? The only reason why I ask is there are some other venues like Roseland that you could have easily booked JC with perhaps Adam and done a drumcode showcase with the amount of "press and industry" you expect and easily sold out a higher-volume with larger profit margin. There in lies the risk vs reward, but it could have been EASILY attained/implemented.
I'll be at the "2nd portion" anyways and I hope it's more exclusive (as opposed to GA) in a better environment than a GA event at Sullivan Room. |

We we will not completely oversell the show, that s the reasoning for the advanced presale. And there is a SECOND portion to this show since we will be closing at 5am at Sullivan Room. I can assure you this though, Joseph will be playing a Minimum of 7 hours total in New York which is extremely rare.
Please be patient, Sullivan Room is medium sized but there has been times where 700 people have been inside and the party was enjoyable.
We are taking every step to make this night/morning on point. Trust! |

Instead of focusing on out-bidding blkmarket you guys should probably lock up a venue. Now nobody wins with this bs. |

agreed- sounds little confusing and bound to have road bumps and hiccups, I mean how seamless can this really go- confirming audio/visual are set-up- security is prepared, coat check, ticket area, drinks, amped party goers hoping to get right back in the groove. Would be best to sell the aftie as a separate event...Hoping for the best but seems like you may be biting off more than you can chew, especially with a big name like Cap- than again he gets paid either way- the ones who suffer are the customers if goes left.
Some set times may help to know whats doing. |

I hope you mean "advance sell-out" the show, because overselling is selling more tickets than capacity, which is:
a) illegal, because at the very least it's fraud (selling something that can NOT be delivered)
b) has caused so many problems with shut-downs lately

on the wantickets site, the event is shown as 10-2. Seemed way short, so you are now confirming it's 10-5?
Finally, is the second portion already COVERED by the tickets for S.R., or will they be sold separately?

strangly have only been @ SR-basement a couple of times, never seems to work out with all the other conflicting events raining down every week these days...
[ex. that ReSolute thing with Xavier and Rainer, damn]
But from what I see as usually going on there, it didn't ever seem much like yolo fly-paper stuff.
So how come I never run into you, or better you into me, at Webster or Pacha, being prime territory? |
