Short people... (pg. 2)

Men do tend to be insecure of their shortness. I'm a woman, 5'8-5'9 and I could see how uncomfortable some men I dated were when I wore heels and end up towering over them. Not sexy. Who cares if I appear taller? Relax!

I'm 6 foot 3 and wish I was either an inch shorter or my waist was larger - it's damn hard to find well-fitting pants being tall and skinny.

Also 6'3, never really had much problem finding fitting pants. Long sleeved shirts though... Either the sleeves would be a bit too shirt or they'd be fine and the shirt would hang so far over my pants it'd look as though I'm wearing a dress. Problem is solved if I roll up the sleeves so it's fine.

Only problem I have with my height is the ridiculous amount of food I need to eat if I feel as though I ought to gain weight. I've always had a healthy weight, but more on the slim side of things. Still, it's great being taller than most people you meet.

I'm the first to make fun of my height when I get to. I'm about average in Europe, and just slightly above it in Brazil (5'10, or 177cm) - and my wife is just 5 feet tall (153cm)... which means the height gap is somewhat funny even when I hug her, because if I look ahead I see absolutely nothing.

It's also handy when we buy furniture. I know my legs are 1 metre long, and she's almost exactly 50% taller, so we can measure all we want without using a single ruler :D

LOL, when I was 19 I looked about 25. I dated a girl (an ex flat-mate) that was exactly 5 foot nothing, and she was the same age as me. She looked about 15... maybe? :wtf: Unlucky, I guess.

She would never be allowed into the clubs we would (try to) go to, despite having valid ID, because they all thought it was fake. We got weird looks everywhere we went, like I was a total pedo :stongue:

She was an actor though, and full of . Also a whore.

Lots of viets at my school, was walking up the stairs and there was two girls in front of me, at least 18, but god damn they looked 12.

I felt like Jay.

I'm 5'8 and fairly comfortable with it.

Definitely fit the bratty loudmouth short-guy stereotype too :p My mouth gets me in a lot of trouble, and the only reason I don't get pummeled is probably because I'm so small and adorable, lol. Also I look a bit like Harry Potter and people are probably afraid I'll place a curse on them.
Paradox Lost
'Short people?' That's a rather offensive way to put it.

I believe the proper term is 'monsters.'

It's true. Just one of many reasons why most short men (5'7" and under, imo) are so unappealing.

I wish that I was shorter to be honest. It would make my look bigger.
