NO!!!!!!!, plus that cd will be giving trance a bad image... i hope none of the teeny boppers out there will embrace this cd, please dont,

im pretty sure i saw holly valance or wateva her name naked in that *kiss kiss* song... infact im positive i saw it on the late night video hits, it wasnt really much to watch though, coz it was like half a second, ur eyes try to focus on the image and it fades off... argh!!!

I can't stand the e that is played on Video Hits. And I especially dislike the "interactive top ten". The fact people vote for such cheesy crap sickens me. Die, Video Hits, die!

yes, i cant believe they voted hampton the hampster into number 5 or some crap, i seriously dont know wat the hell is wrong with some people, do they like the song coz the hampster is cute?!... or do they really believe the vocals are top notch?? and how basic and meaningless are the lyrics... a simple song

should of put these 3 posts into one...

I saw that ad! Geez, even the cover of the CD looks teenyish and cheesy! I think the majority of the tracks are stuff like Lasgo and DJ Sammy, but I think there are a few good tunes on it like System F- Exhale. I predict that this "Trance Central" CD will go straight to the top of the compilation charts, and will sit right next to the WILD CDs, which, without a doubt, is where it belongs. I can definitely see some of the fickle, impressionable 14 year old girls at school buying this compilation.
...*sigh*

By the way, has anyone seen those ads for Dee Dee- Forever and some blatant money making remix of that old Time After Time song from Strictly Ballroom? I think they are advertised along with some Janet Jackson song...anyway, these songs look incredibly cheesy! So cheesy it's somewhat amusing...:stongue: It's definitely Interactive Top Ten quality.

i think my turds are interactive top ten quality.

The worst part is that the general public think that Darude, Fragma, Ian van Dahl, Lasgo et al are what defines the genre. Mention Ferry Corsten for example and they will invariably go who the f*ck is he?

Mind you they might know Barber's Adagio for Strings cause that has been used on quite a number of commercials.

Or punk Dj Dowls, the amount of times ive heard "Hey that track in the latest ministry of sound compilation!" when trance nation was released a few months back was annoying.

What makes it more annoying is they only knew it was in there because of the advert and the basic synths.

Whatever happened to Ministry? Ever since they got rid of the big names, they've just been producing commercial cheese. Have you noticed that? I think the Annual 2002 (2001) was the first one to be released without the DJs name on it. Why don't they have them? Are they too scared to tell us how crappy the DJ is? Bring back decent DJs!!!

And yes, that point about Punk is quite true. Although I think the first time I heard it was when he spun it live in Adelaide (26th Augusty 2001).
