| call every sunday which is kinda the rule for everyone. And more if i know my dad is away doing consulting. So twice a week. Probably the same for all my family members. |

| Also I don't count text messages. My mom texts me every other day or so. My dad can't text really... it always comes out as horrible jibberish. I find it hilarious because he can type entire emails to clients on his iphone but he can't text worth . :wtf: |

Yeah, I'm about the same distance from my dad's place. Still doesn't mean I want to visit him though :p Mum lives about 130km north of Brisbane. |

| I talk with my Dad daily since I work with him. Sucks. My mom I speak with about a couple times a month depending on holidays. |

Lews said half mile, but I got you all beat.
I rent my 'rents basement, and see/talk to them less than a lot of the people that have responded here :p
Not that I hate them or anything, I go up and visit with them every couple of weeks or so, but otherwise it's an actual basement-apartment, so my privacy (and theirs) is respected. |

| Exchange messages a few times a week. With the time difference and my schedule, calling home is a little hard. I haven't done it in 8 months. |

I haven't talked to my mother in a few months. I've been incredibly busy and being across the world doesn't make it any easier.
I think I am going to take a vacation in August back home, though. I'll surprise them. |

I live not too far from my folks and talk with them almost daily. i visit 2-3 times a week for like 30 min.
It sucks how some of you people don't have a relationship with your folks. Hopefully you're better off without them and have someone else fill the void. |
