I talk to my parents on average once a week for about an hour. they live 8 hrs away but ive always had a pretty close relationship with them. As an added bonus, my dad has gotten way kookier in his old age (he is 62 this year) which makes for some serious lol worthy moments..... he joined facebook... hilarity ensued, he discovered text messaging.... hilarity ensued.... and now he has this undying urge to prove how cool he still is.... like yesterday he calls me from the local bar back home to tell me that he is out for beers with the boys and things were getting rowdy.... (he had 3 pints)
he also has started referring to my mom as "reeny" (her name is Maureen). i keep telling him hes my hero and encourage his new found coolness mainly to piss off my very embarrassed mother lol
basically my parents are awesome and if i talked to them more, i could probably write a tv sitcom that would make me a millionaire |

A bunch of co-workers at my previous job loved it, and wouldn't stop talking about the latest episode every time it aired. It took so much willpower to not lose my and tell them how ing retarded I thought they were. |

I always compare Big Bang Theory to 2.5 Men, because I hate them both.
2.5 Men is a worthless piece of that is delivered to morons, but The Big Bang Theory is a worthless piece of wrapped up in some nerdy wrapping paper to make it appeal to people who aren't nearly as clever as they think they are. Though I know some pretty clever people who want BBT as something to zone out to. It always confuses me, as I've never understood how anyone could find anything redeeming in either show. |

| My Mum would ring me every single day if she could, but she normally phones me once a week. My Dad has phoned about twice in the seven years since I left home. I don't tend to ring them unless I'm upset about something or I need some advice or help. |

| My parents live in Montreal. I've been living in Colorado for over year but we've spoken almost every day via webcam or phone. I have a very close relationship with them. I think Mama would die a slow death if she doesn't see my face at least once or twice a week. |
