| You're a vegetarian? What sort of spices do you use (if I am allowed to know)? :p |

Burrito with no meat = no fun
I'd rather eat all that on a plate. |

I'm not vegetarian, just the wraps. Spices are pretty simple; salt, pepper, Mexican chili powder, coriander (both fresh and ground) and a bit of cumin. Plenty flavourful. Trick is using a variety of veggies - celery, shredded carrot, corn, bell pepper, zucchini...last batch had chopped cauliflower and kale in it. |

No burritos here. Closest thing would be a fajita, I guess, and even then it just tastes like bland crap in Norway. "Tacos" are really big in Norway though, but the salsas wrong, the spices are whack, and the condiments rarely venture beyond tomatoes and corn. I mean, it's so pathetic a newspaper or whatever decided to do a story on it and brought the Nor-mex stuff to a Mexican family (in mexico) and prepared it according to the packaging, and the 5 year old little girl was liek "wtf is ? This says hot? get tha fuuuck outta here!"
of course her accent was a little less Brooklyn and a little more Mexico City or whatever, but you get the point.
You've only recently been able to find re-fried beans, heck even the ing beans needed for pre-frying, and it's only in the largest stores.
Salsa verde is also something you won't find in Norway. They did have one for about 2 months, called Tomatillo Sauce, but now it's out of production.

Should add that on the occasions that I make them fresh, I will add stuff like shredded jerk chicken, avocado and sweet potato. |

I won't lie, I make a mean burrito. In fact, I can make a feast of mexican food and Tex-Mex that'll ensure you never eat anywhere else again, simply cos it tastes so good.
Lard helps make it all taste so epic...
Sux that here in Malaysia, no mexican food for miles. I wanna go back to Dallas or LA. Plenty of the good stuff around those parts.
All i need is a burrito, and my music production become so much easier. |

Well, seeing as everything in Norway is super-expensive, it's no surprise why foreign herbs and spices are such rarities for my fellow neighbors in Fjordland. |
