i think learning how to synthesize a kick is just a residual thing that happens after you get better at using your synth...in your head your like "hey, I could probably actually make a kick drum sound by using a adsr/pitch envelope and a sine wave"...etc/
MSZ
That sounds pretty good,I know a lot of people use Bazzism to reinforce/shape the low end of the kicks and layer in sampled ones for the midrange. Im usually not too picky and use a few sampled ones and use variety, but then again im not very good ^^.

Say it again.

Who isn't good?
Who is a bad boy?

im probably gonna buy fraps here pretty quick and do some tutorials on it....and youll see its actually pretty easy....3x osc is probably the best soft synth ive ever used ...and i just demoed dune 1 and 2 as well as sylenth and zebra....i own omnisphere but its a cpu hog....its the best pound for pound sound for simplicity i think.

Cool, I hope you get a chance to make the tutorial.

I use 3xOsc to make white noise sweeps.

Really liking this. Can't believe how quickly the sine wave starts sounding like a kick. Thanks for uploading this!
