I know its not, but given my boss' reaction (he wrote me an email asking why I didn't cover a girl's shift whom I told maybe, and I kinda went off on him for being insensitive) and... I dunno. I feel bad. I feel like a bad person in general. I feel like I am upsetting my boyfriend who is currently in California on business and can't do anything anyway, I don't like making my friends worried, I still haven't told my family and don't think I will, then I just feel like I am a bad person, or not as nice as I think.

Goddamn I would love to have a job where I travel; I've thought about working on a cruise ship but then I remembered how much I hate kids. I'd love to work at a resort or somewhere that allows me to travel. I've been in talk with some friends in edm for artist handling, but nothing has really solidified yet.

No family that could financially afford to help me. The only one who could lives with my father and spends all of her time in fear/harassed/dictated by him and she spends a lot of her money to support him and rebuild the house that he and his dogs have completely destroyed.
Heavy hittin' friends... ehh, I don't know. I don't feel comfortable taking money from people anyway, even family, and the only people I know who have a lot of money I am worried they will want something sexual in return. |

| I would really try to get out of waitering. Even making less somewhere with structured advancement is just a better decision in the long term. Waitering looks terrible on a resume. I remember the summers i worked between semesters and it was sad how people are basically stuck doing it because they hit 30 and realize they have nothing to show for 10 years. I mean i get it if you are trying to pursue something and need money quick but as a career, its a tough road. |

I'm a hostess, not a waiter. I am trying. I am spamming my resume to all kinds of offices, customer support centers, etc. You have to think of all the other people I am competing with, though. I am worried I might have to take a place out of desperation, and restaurants/retail are always hiring (and firing). |
