Did anyone go to Tomorroworld?

If so, how would you compare it to EDC or Ultra?
DaveT
Everything I've read where people say that have been to all say nothing compares to TW, including EDC.

The 21+ policy prob helped. 140,000+ all 21+ ...

TomorrowWorld was 300% better than TomorrowLand 2013. Everyone I know who went to both agreed even my friends from Belgium

TW was better than Ultra 2013

TW was better than EDC LV 2011 and 2012. 2013 is kinda tricky, I would say TW was better but it was close. The stage and production this year at EDC Vegas was great plus all the rides but if TW had rides I would say it was better

I give TomorrowWorld 2013 USA the award for the best festival I have ever been to worldwide ever. And I would say I have been to a festival over 100 times. Killer event and I went into if thinking it was going to suck, I already had plans to go home that Saturday after it sucked Friday but I was wrong. Hope this helps

One thing to add is ultra, EDC Vegas, and EZoo NYC all stepped up their game this year. I've had the most fun at festivals this year due to the competition.

It's all because of the big money in EDM right now and I'm thankful for it. SFX stock about to go public weighs huge and most people are scared of corperatizibg EDM, it's already been happening got three years and its been a great ride.

I call it the fourth coming of EDM since the mid 90's and I say it's at least a 10 year fad

Ill take the BPM festival or a week in black rock city any day of the week over carnival rides and 67 DJs playing Dutch Trouse. EDC Vegas 2013 was pretty cool production wise (a bite on night time on the playa for sure), but its no where near the experience of playa del Carmen or black rock city.

Based on pictures, Tomorroworld's production is second to none. But that's all that really is to me, a big money production show. A night or two is cool I guess, but 10 days in playa del Carmen or a week in black rock city is much more worth my vacation days and money spent.

I did Ultra in 2007 and 2009. Ultra was better when is was all a part of WMC and you could do a full week on south beach and hit the festival toward the end. Now that its broken up It changes it a bit for me. The location is spectacular though, but the production hasn't come close to what I have seen from EDC and Tomorrowstuff.

I've done my fair share of festivals over the years in the US, including sevearal installments of both EDC and Ultra, and I must say that TW blew it all out of the water. I am skipping Ultra next year due to their handling of their presale debacle earlier this year and may windup also skipping EDC in favour of going to TW. The production and the 21+ crowd made it for me.

Nothing beats BPM!!! I did a few of these festivals this year. I can't imagine being over the age of 24-25 and enjoying these

So out of all of the replies that was asked from the OP, only one person attended TW. :haha: :haha:

Different strokes for different folks. If the kind of festival you like is burning man or BPM then you wont like TomorrowWorld. That is a given fact. Also Ultra sucked in 2006 to 2011. As mentioned they stepped it up, they definitely have the most diverse lineup and the Megastructure this year was the best enclosed festival stage I have ever been to. Since you cant listen to the top 40 crap that gets played at TomorrowWorld, as long as you are not missing a carl cox, digweed, sven vath invite only boat cruise you should make sure you check out ultra if you can snag a Friday or Saturday only portion of a ticket from a friend.

Me myself, I prefer trance and techno which TW did not have much of but I also work in production for EDM shows and I dont just work in production, I love production so I sat at the main stage and just ate it up at TW almost the whole time after the sun set.

Yes I only knew one person who came to TW from the West Coast, the problem was (I think) Nocturnal was that weekend combined with the fact that not one person who knew anything about EDM shows believed that TW was actually going to have the good production or be worth a thought to spend money on.
