You guys are confusing Ice Palace and Ice Palace West (formerly karu & y). IPW is the cluster place with out of control lines due to various different sized rooms and bottleneck passageways, IP is a huge warehouse that is nearly impossible to sell out.
On a side note deep dish is playing really lousy tonight... Overpowering bass, they were much better in Chicago |
Def not confused, was at enter last night and the experience was awful. Richies precise minimal was garbled horribly sounding fart bass. That system sucks and that's all there is to it. |

| Wasn't there, but I'll concur with the sound system hate. Pretty weak. |

| I suppose most that were there are traveling today or getting in their last hours of WMC, but does anyone actually have a full review of the night?? |

I'm not sure what party you guys went to but I thought Deep Dish was great! 6 hours of madness from them, the place was jumping! And I've been a fan of theirs since the late 90's. Now I understand their style has changed, granted, but mine has evolved too. I loved how much techno they played throughout the night.
And to the guy who posted the sound system had too much bass? Really? I thought the sound system was crisp clear and had awesome low end.
The party was a 10 out of 10. The production exceeded expectations with all the LED walls flown in the air, and the massive lighting rig. Definitely had that warehouse feel to the party that I love. Big room, great lighting and visuals, massive sound system, and a 6 hour non stop set from Deep Dish! 2:30am-8:30 am. The added seating areas with bean bags and hammocks outside was also a nice touch. I've been to events at this same space that sucked, this one did not |

I'm absolutely with you. Sound both nights was great, not stellar (Space, Electric Pickle) but solid for a big room system. As good as Adam/Ida and Matador were Fri, the vibe was immense for Ali and Sharam. I thought they'd come out proggy and build similar to their Essential Mix, but they came out swingin with big room tech from the drop. They played some bad ass techy remixes of older prog tracks that were straight devastating. |

| What a party this was! Not one complaint out this night. They should not added CC. I'm sure Deep Dish would of kept going. |
