that party was set up so whack though. i would of never made it to 4am when the good stuff finally started. my idea of sleeping and showing up at 5 was actually a good one but i just overslept. :p

It's like a battle for my dancing soul in here. Depending on how "tickets" are handled this year, I may be selling my Ultra ticket. I've heard that tix will be a singular wristband this year and if that is so then I'd rather sell my ticket for face value or a bit less since I got mine for $200. I'll miss out on the awesome CC&F arena but I'd rather make money than just use my ticket for one day. If not, it'll come down to making sure I get a few winks of sleep between Enter and Ultra.

Looks like there's one more warmup gig before WMC. The boys are coming home March 16th!

Ok, so I am not too familiar with Deep Dish- but have heard multiple sets from Sharam that got me hooked and always been a fan of Dubfire- is there any reason to believe that they will be playing differently than they do nowadays since this is a reunion? or just combined powers like super friends?

If they are TRULY playing as Deep Dish, then it will be very different from their solo sets. I think they are. Deep Dish is more progressive house (not the cheesy kind)..think Sasha b2b Digweed back in the days

Are the videos of Deep Dish playing in Chicago deep house? Sounds more techy to me.

Deep Dish was always prog house. The Sasha Diggers comparison is ok, but with a tad more vocals and more housey, if that's even a thing, ha... The vids from Chicago seem to be a combination of their old sound with a heavy tech influence, which is to be expected considering what each has been doing the last several years. The "superfriends" reference, lol, might not be far off the mark.

.......And DAMN!!! I am so happy with the lineup. I was very worried about the possibility of some cheese showing up and my doubts creeping back in but, man, I'm lovin' it. Never been a huge fan of Craig but I've had fun at some of his gigs and no denying his talent. A big room should bring out his best. Hot Since 82 is one of my top yet-to-see-live artists, plus Andhim will be the perfect warmup (though unlikely I'll be there early enough :( ). In any case, looking forward to a proper reunion of America's best ever dj duo.
