I could probably justify not going to drumcode cause I'm not as crazy about them anymore..... but it probably will shape up to be a stellar party. Really, what I've been trying to do is justify not going to deep dish, haha.... I really wanna get back to Vagabond for Diggers, but my curiosity won't let me turn away from this "reunion". Some of my best nights out a decade ago were with these guys at the helm. I'd say it has a better-than-decent chance of being a total letdown, but I guess I just gotta find out in person. The repeat venue thing is a big deal since I rarely make it down to miami more than once a year anymore. Maybe I'll get enough drinks in me that I won't really notice. :tongue2 If things are a total disaster music wise, I could hop across the street and try to get into Vagabond or maybe the sunrise cruise will happen again.
In any case, $40 and 5am closing isn't too much of a commitment. Curious what the lineup might be. Could definitely see Tong and/or Behrouz there, along with support from a Yooshi or Sci-Tec label mate. |

You should wait until Story and FDR parties are announced...I have no idea myself what they have planned but those are two quality venues. Last year if I'm not mistaken, Luciano had his Cadenza party at Story and Carl Craig along with some Detroit buddies were rocking FDR on that Saturday night.
I'm not officially planning anything for that night, I find too much planning to stress me the out, lol. But if I do anything house music related, I think it's going to be a more chill party that closes at 5 am. Need to be as fresh as possible for Sunday, ha. |

Ticket bought and it's a true testament to Deep Dish since I had zero plans on even attending WMC this year!
Once this party was announced, there was no turning back. Now we need the after hours terrace set to happen to complete my nostalgia dreams. |

| Turns out the duo is playing Chicago this Saturday. Gonna have to search far and wide for some reviews on that one. Would drive up myself if it weren't my dad's bday. A recording would be the best and would make my wmc plans much more clear. Admittedly, it does kind of take some of the allure away after thinking Miami would be their first performance together |

I had a friend who isn't an industry person, but has a lot of friends and always seems to know about shows / DJ gossip before anything is ever announced tell me that DD was playing at a secret show this Saturday.
I found the link for tickets (http://www.clubtix.com/secret-show-...-tickets-274149) and the new DD logo is displayed on the flyer for that night... that's all I'm going off of, but seems fairly reliable. |
