One video online from last night. Inconclusive but promising? Very progressively housey :gsmile:

(Sorry, all these years and still no idea how to embed vids) |
Really simple. When you go to the youtube page where the video is, click on share, then you will see embed. Copy and then paste the code you see and paste it into the TA. Voila!

I'll be honest, that first video got me fired up. And here's the little bit of nostalgia I think you'll get at Ice Palace.... Here they drop Flashdance over some sick techno track. I would expect a lot of that. DD vocals over new techy tracks.

As odd as it may sound, a Deep Dish show back in 2009 is what got me hooked on techno. Their main room set at Space during WMC 09 was a complete techno onslaught. It was the year Ali dropped Grindhouse for the first time and both he and Sharam were drilling the main room with techno.
Some of the most memorable bombs from that night...
Cardo- Sburone ...still one of the sickest techno tracks I've ever heard in a club
Matador- Dancing in the Sun (Perc remix) ...twisted

Oh god, now I'm thinking about adding this to my already busy schedule of Saturday.
Enter>Ultra (Carl Cox & Friends), Deep Dish
Little bit over 24 hours of straight dancing. Maybe nap between Enter and Ultra?!

Don't do it man! Maybe you're a better man than I but I couldn't see myself really enjoying myself by the time it was ready to go see Deep Dish. Stay fresh for Drumcode...
I remember how much of a chore doing all the events at ADE was just a few months ago and I never partied past 7 am and never did a day party. Maybe I really am getting old! |

its doable. enter ends at 10am. what time you gonna head to ultra anyway? 5pm? plenty of time to sleep. |

Easy: leave enter 8am - sleep - wake up, eat, and hit ultra late afternoon - Deep Dish until 5am (that's what it says?) - sleep until afternoon again - wake up, eat, Last Resort - Drumcode.
Plenty of sleep in there |

| All reviews/vids from Chicago have been positive and have put any pessimism I had to rest. I can't believe I was even thinking about not going to this party, when these guys orchestrated so many spectacular nights for me back in the day. Will it likely miss the mark on past greatness? Maybe..... But it's still two more-than-competent djs getting back together after a long time. Gonna be some nostalgia, no doubt. It's also interesting how some point to it as a gimmick when, as far as I know, both guys are holding his own in the scene. It's undeniable that a reunion probably benefits sharam a little more, but what people may be overlooking is this as an artistic outlet for Dubfire. I am excited. |

Oh it's doable alright...the question is do you want to do it?
Talk about party overload, at some point the music stops sounding good...
You guys do realize that the music isn't going anywhere right? Lol...
And Flo, don't even talk cuz you slept during disgusting Pan-Pot and Anja Schneider sets at the Mobilee warehouse during ADE. :toothless :stongue: |
