We get all that you said and they have a free shuttle the drives you anywhere within a 3 mile radius. Just book at DoubleTree and stay at our hotel next year loser. :tongue2

I booked Friday - Tuesday @ $149/night. It's now $189-209/night. Prices already pretty high! |

When did you book?
Also, they discount the other nights if you get Friday as well, so that could be a reason. |

Yikes. That's what Cribby said too. He booked last night and they had already gone up. Glad everyone is getting on this quickly though! |

Yeah, but what does that mean really? People in and out? People who bought tickets? Did they count the difference between 3 day passes and 1 day passes?
Do you really think they sold 100k+ tickets? @ $100 each approx, that's $10million dollars?
I wonder how they got that number? I can imagine there being 107k people through the gates from noon Sat till midnight Mon. I don't recall people taking count at VIP. I know there is turnstiles at the front GA, but nothing at the riverside entrance. As as I mentioned before, what about reentries?
So just for s and giggles (and because I'm kind of a it paranoid), I booked a room at the DoubleTree just in case,
3 nights @ $229 a night for a 2 queen 2 room corner suite. $790 all together.
I'll probably cancel once I get my VIP, but decided to get it as a precautionary measure. |

what a great set. It sent shivers down my spine while I was listening to it in the dark in the middle of the night. Haven't heard anything this dark and deep in a while. Sorta reminded me of Digweed's LA GU in a way with the feeling. That Blade Runner opening was cool and it was nice hearing tracks off of his upcoming EP as well. |

I just wanna know how they calculated it.
And myself and others have all said it seemed like there was more room to move and wander this year. Yet, this year was probably the most difficult for running into people? Maybe this year had a better line up and each stage was smashed up front and not many people wandering? Bigger VIP sprawl? Better and more even disbursement and distribution of people throughout the stages at any given time?
We had better weather than last, and that was 100k and felt jammed! This year, seemed a bit easier to roam around. |

| It's simple man...it's not 107,000 unique attendees. The 107,000 consists of the same people attending on different days. It's like what Digital Dreams did last year to inflate their numbers. |

Great to finally meet you Mach Ten :) !! And Cribby, always a pleasure !
Fri - arrive in Detroit, check out Bucharest Bar and Grill and enjoy tasty steak salad and stiff Whiskey Sours. Hip and inexpensive.
Honourable mentions : chicken fajitas and bacon-topped macaroni at Hart Plaza,
Funny moment : sitting besides a chill, non-imposing guy from NYC at Old Miami and my saying that apparently Output is a good club there. Turns out he is one of the owners. He gave me his # !
The super-nice people holding the ``This is a Good Sign`` ! Loved their spiritual, but non-religious messages.
Bumping into various people I know from Toronto and Montréal I had not seen in a while.
Some of the highlights for me : Coxy, Hawtin, Liebing, Diggers @ Hart Plaza. Matthew Dear @ St. Andrews Hall Fri night (everyone was fresh and full of energy!), Art Dept @ City Bar (what an old school venue). Finally checking out Old Miami - certainly lived up to the hype!
My 3rd DEMF, and the best for me. Stellar weather, great vibes, very welcoming locals, excellent organized event. As already written, hopefully they will sort out some of their sound issues. |
