Yes, you're right on all accounts.. I was just simply talking about the music. The crowd sucked, especially up front. When I moved to the balcony I had a great time for the rest of the set.
cr24. He dropped the usual suspects like big sky and some others I'm not familiar with.. but for the most part he played what I said.
I didnt stay for mike's set so I can't say anything about that.
oh one more thing.. Sound system seemed to be off a bit, it was definitely better calibrated for orkidea and solarstone.

Neon was there... he bought my friends tkts... so... I happened to meet him by chance... I know when I first joined this board, he was very very active. He said he came out of retirement to check JOC out. Now he seems to fly under the radar... ahhahaa

The sound system did seem much better during solarstone.

Yea, a bit too crowded:( Those two times when the set stopped did throw off my vibe a little. Glad the party was at SRB and not Pacha or Webster, though (though I can tolerate the latter more). I know Big Sky is cheesy, but I still like it, lol, and would have wanted a different mix than what he played; same thing with Black Hole. Highlights were I Follow You and Burned with Desire. He is playing in August at FSOE, right? Since, like someone said already, draw a crowd, I would like to see him get his own night at Hammerstein. Or wish the FSOE event would be scaled down to have him play longer:)
