It has to do with the people up high who supposedly supported ammendnt 2.
Everybody knows nothing but old s come out to vote the mid terms, most ofthrm republicans. The past 2 times this has been on the ballot it's been mid term elections.
If the powers that be really wanted it passed it would be during a presidential election. The 2 party system is a huge scam as is most of what goes on with voting and the government. Big pharma was pushing against this so hard through Vegas casinos (how should Vegas casinos be able to push vote no on 2?)
I also bet if you followed the money trial for no on 2, it would end up at Disney as well. Same way how Disney didn't want Indian casinos.
I never voted and never will as it's all a scam. I don't vote for , I do what I please and live knowing there is nothing we the people can do to fix this crooked American system of politics besides a full on reset revolution. |

So if younger voters weren't so apathetic and actually voted and the amendment 2 garnered the required 60%, you're saying that somehow the "system" would've rigged the vote?
It's obviously a law that has been passed in 22 other states. And Oregon, Alaska, Guam, and D.C. legalized it outright last night to make it six states/districts/territories where it's legal recreationally.
The system isn't rigged, young people just don't vote because they're lazy and don't give a . You can't complain about how the system is broken yet not vote. That's why laws like this don't pass. Because young voters think the world is out to get them, when in reality, all they have to do is spend 25 minutes of their time (that's how long it took me to vote from the time I left my place until the time I got back, no joke) to cast their ballot. |

the system is rigged. If you read into what amendment 2 is, specifically who will be able to cultivate the product for sale, the restrictions are made to only cater to big industry farming. It said something like 30 years of business proof in business just to be able to quality.
People will smoke reguardless, I will smoke reguardless. I would honestly rather support local mom and pop growers which is where most the good comes from now and days instead of big business and investors.
People are still having to pay drug dealer taxes as marijuana is still federally class 1. I just read a huge article how unless you grow an sell in Colorado you cannot even afford to stay in business due to these drug dealer taxes that dispensaries have to pay. Dispensaries who buy from people who are able to sell cannot get enough deductions to even make any profit.
Vote who ever you want to vote for and whatever you want to vote for, the 2 party system is a charade. It's all about the powerful corporations who fund these politicians to run in the first place. Obama, McCain, it doesn't matter. The end result is the same. Shrinking the middle class, getting the rich richer and keeping the military industrial complex going full throttle. These little victories that make us feel good like medical or decriminalizing marijuana are a joke. Only thing that happens is these investors and big corps get more money. All the new laws concerning mj and the fact the Feds will not get rid of the drug dealer tax is proof
