Yeah you need to go to Orlando man.
Anyhow wow I'm ready for 6 hour open to close sets. I have never felt this good and theme/style ready when it comes to new mixers, i'm in love. Man and machine become one lol. I'm bringing this badboy everywhere i go. |

| Note: I'm losing my desire to play out. I'll only do it if i'm asked to and I think it will mean much more if its it like that. I rather just hang and chill. I also would like to compete for dmc if they allowed time code vinyl. I'll prob be the first with edm breaks with scratching and back spinning. |

Holy crap: Almost every deep house artist everyone here likes is using Oyaide Neo RCA, I thought it was just Dubfire.
http://www.neo-w.com/english
check out the artist roster ^
IMO, these cables far exceed any hifi audiophile cable i came across, they are actually made for mixing. After long sessions I'm selling my furutechs which are oyaide's rival company in the same location in Japan. Thank you Oyaide. |

Assuming a digital connection, sound quality is only derived from a couple of things:
1. speakers/headphones. the most important, by far
2. "name brand" amplifier with enough headroom to play the volume you want to play at
in the year 2014, all the major audio manufacturers (when it comes to sound processing, amps, etc) pretty much have it figured out. Yamaha = HK = Denon = Pioneer, etc. It's all the same . Tube amps sound different because their analog nature produces a different harmonic distortion that sounds warm. Those expensive Cambridge Audio, Emotiva, etc amps that rich audiophiles buy? It's the product of a fabricated industry that convinces stupid rich people that those components are somehow better just because they have "symmetrical" design and brushed aluminum and retail for $4200. Same sound quality as the $420 Yamaha at Best Buy.
everything else is audiophile bull. the fact that you think certain cables really make a difference just illustrates how stupid you really are.
and there's nothing wrong with being into good audio, I am, but spend your money on speakers and headphones. as an example, if I had 3 grand to spend on a setup, I'd get $2500 in speakers and push it with a $500 amp. Guaranteed to get better results than spending $1500 on speakers and $1500 on an amp. |

For my home system I got a simple klipsch sb1 soundbar and sub. It honestly sounds just as good as my friends who have well over 1-2k in their set ups |

of course, Klipsch is the ! I got a somewhat basic Yamaha receiver and a pair of Klipsch floorstanding speakers from the 1980s (price on craigslist: $175) in my current (temporary) setup and it blows away my friend's setup whom has these ultra modern slimline speakers ($2100) hooked up to an expensive Cambridge amp. Of course he's also got gold plated banana plugs, monster HDMI cables, the whole 9 :stongue:
I guess if it sounds better to him than whatever but it's just the placebo effect. |

Yea, ever since you recommended Klipsch, I'll never go to another brand.
My little 2.1 pro audio Klipsch computer speakers and sub are perfect for the apartment. Anything bigger than that and I'd be in jail, lol.
Which ones were those at your old place? The monsters up front or the other ones behind the sectional? |

Haha you are not the first I've converted to Klipsch and you won't be the last!
But anyways, they are the the ones in my bedroom that I never hooked up! Klipsch KG 4 (circa mid 1980s-early 90s)
My old roommate still has those other monsters (KG 5.5, circa mid 1990s)... I miss them...

Ah, he kept them! Does he have the other ones, too? Don't remember if he sold them.
Last time I was there you guys had the two monsters and the other ones there. Too bad we never got to throw a concert, lol.
Those speakers are on another level. Beast Mode! Klipsch >>> |
