PVD was excellent
coat check was good
line was fast
VIP sucked salty balls
crowd was good
lights were good
heating in that warehouse was excellent (which isn't easy)

I thought it was a fantastic night.

The crowd was one of the best I've been a part of recently. There wasn't any pushing or douching, just normal people having a great time dancing with friends.

The sound was pretty uninspiring in the back of the warehouse, but once you moved towards the stage it was pretty good. Loud though, real loud.

I thought his set was very good. It wasn't amazing talk about for months good, but it had its moments and certainly wasn't disappointing at all.

^^^ Overwhelming response is that it was a good night. Wish I made it to this one. :toothless

the heat farther back wasnt great, but where it mattered was ok. in fact, with 6 bucks for water I made it through on 2 bottles, not possible if it had been toasty, lol, so thanks for that.
VIP was a def. rip-off, the only benefit I could see was about 10-15 spots to sit and rest.

best part about the crowd, not much front push 'n crush, rare these days..
(set-up put little too much distance between rail and booth though...)

Yes, this was a huge highlight and a very unique remix. Think he's been playing it out lately. So good, just including that signature synth throughout the whole record.

How were the acoustics in there? Think it was the same warehouse used for Moderat right?
DJDavidScott
In the right spot it was banging and clear. Not so much in others. They could have used another two stacks in the back. Dance floor however was similar to proper club and sounded great

Recalled tracks, in no particular order to get this started. Thinking back, the set from Gov. Island is a close match, with some fresh tracks weaved in. So, groundbreaking it was not, but he certainly created a great environment. Lot's missing here, so add in what you can.

PvD's set was a lot of fun. Very bare bones venue with a great crowd. It's always good to see a lot of familiar faces. My only complaint is that I wish he would dig a little deeper into his crates and pull out some other classics. I just saw him at Vandit Night in Berlin and he played "Another Way" into "Forbidden Fruit". The crowd went crazy and it would have destroyed the NY crowd too.

Oh well...maybe next time.

I had an amazing time. Great crowd, great set. So much fun. He played some classics with some new tracks I had never heard before. He is a master at picking up the pace and then slowing it down. The first hour was some deep house with a trancey feel, then he switched over to progressive trance around 11:15 and then broke out some classics with new tracks in between. A journey. it wasn't too crowded in the front where Cars and I were dancing. And you had room on the sides and the back. It was one of my friends' first trance experiences and when it was over, on the street, I asked "What did you think?". He replied "Epic". Enough said. Definitely look forward to him coming back again.

Please someone tell me what the second encore track (the last track of the night) was.
