Yeah, this is true. Happened to me, also in a football match, funnily enough. Similar to Vivid, the guy pushed me after some incident but he also followed it straight up with a punch. He landed just below the cheekbone and chipped my tooth through the cheek. I was reeling for a couple of seconds but I think he expected me to go down, and when I stayed on my feet he didn't hang around. I'd had a "fight" with the same guy a few years earlier at school and punched him in the face and he'd burst into tears at the time, so I consider that an aggregate victory.

With my mouth, I've been sucker punched more than a few times. It is a good thing that I have a head like a football helmet. I didn't let them run away.

I have had my ass handed to me twice; once by a much smaller guy too. Those didn't feel so great; however, truth be told I deserved it.

I've had my ass handed to me once as well. However I got a lot
Of high school respect for fighting a dude a few years older and twice the size. Wasn't fun having him use my head as a battering ram into a locker though. I still see the guy around to this day. We always say hi and catch up quickly.

This and also giving an unsuspecting "How do you do?" headbutt.

That being said. TA fight club anyone?

This thread reads like the life stories of all those extras listening in on Brad Pitt's sermons.

this thread reminds me of what it's like when your fist connects with that sweet spot in the jaw, there's no other feeling like it

with that being said I've eaten my fair share of lumps

In my experience you rarely get more than two honest punches in before a fight descends into a grappling match where the heavier and stronger usually prevails. It's not like a Bruce Lee movie.

it's better to punch yourself in the face....gets all your rage out and you can't get in trouble.

the really cool thing is that just one punch can in the absolute worst scenario put someone into a coma they never recover from.

one example.

but it at least it FEELS good.

dude so can playing baseball and not catching the ball before it hits your melon. How often does that in happen?

it isnt cool to physically fight anyone. I don't go around starting fights. I got into a scrap and was forced to swing a punch. I forgot how awesome it actually feels to have that adrenaline pumping and connecting with a hook. Best therapy ever. Am I going to go around now and start fights with random peple on the street? no. Am i going to go out and look for fights? no. I was just throwing it out there that something that is so socially frowned upon actually feels great to get out of your system once in a while.

I don't think anyone here needs a lesson on why violence is not the way to resolve issues. The point of the thread was just to say its not the right way but it definitely has the quickest satisfaction and then share our war stories.
