Don't punch people, seriously, what social level are you from? The bottom rug of society? Eric, come on buddy you're better than this.
Abusive behavior is awful and will Eat you up. It starts with insulting others, then raising your voice, followed by raising a hand, and then...punches.
There's a reason I don't drink often. I happen to know that alcohol breaks down my inhibitions and I'm less likely to self regulate when arguing. You know, de-escalate the situation and reassess.
You are an adult now. Even if you were a teen, not acceptable. Nothing was won between both of you after that altercation. Being the better man would've made you feel better. |

if my son was gay id probably drive him up to the country side and let him out. I'd tell him he has a hard road in front of him but one day he'll thank me for leaving him alone. I'd then drive away honking the horn yelling fag out the window |
With that kind of attitude, its no wonder people want to punch you! |

Someone wants to punch you, you punch them. It is really that simple. Survival of the fittest.
Someone wants to hit you, you make sure you win.
The kick to the balls move is literally a dick one. |
So following your rules, survival of the fittest and making sure you win, then really anything goes, it could be a swift kick to the groin or a gun shot to the head.
How can you draw the line as to what is or what is not reasonable when it comes to ensuring you win, being the survivor? |

A rather ludicrous extrapolation from what Jay actually said. |

there has been more than one of those already. Jay guilty as always. I didn't even bother to point it out because it was so obvious. |

Really?
You've gone all out in your transformation, as you have the irrationality of a woman as well.
Quite the stretch in interpretations here. |

Jay's trolling though.
I haven't punched anyone in the face for years and even when I've been drunk and someone has tried to start a fight I've always managed to defuse it without hitting anyone. However:
1) For most people, a blow to the head is extremely unlikely to kill someone. I can say with certainty that I couldn't administer such a blow, because I'm neither big enough nor strong enough. So I'm not going to compromise myself in a fight worrying about something I'm frankly not going to do.
2) Real fights are messy things. People come at you suddenly, from different angles, they don't stay at arm's length and they can fight dirty without warning. You often react instinctively in these moments. Now, you may have trained in jujutsu (which by my understanding is a whole martial art of efficient self-defence) and maybe you could could execute some non-lethal grapple or something in the spur of the moment, but to most people that's not in their armoury. If someone's coming at you, punching them in the face nice and hard is often the quickest way to stop the situation.
3) Jay's "man code" might sound like macho nonsense, but people actually work like that. Kicking someone in the bollocks is a dirty move and by doing it you open yourself up to dirty retaliation. If a guy starts a fight with you and you stop it with a punch in the face, pretty much everyone will interpret that as a fair victory and that you are someone not to be ed with. |
