My parents, who live just up the creek, told me I am the one who has to take Jessup to the local dialysis clinic for the next three weeks. This is incredibly frustrating to me as, living here in the wide and dopey farmsteads, it takes ages to get anywhere. I don’t have time for all this, though I do love Jessup. I also love my parents a whole heck of a lot. Gee whiz, I don’t know how I’m to fit this new itinerary into my daily routine, given all the rashes and sores I must tend to on my own supple body each day.
