I can't believe there are DJ's who still play that crap!
and Adelante!?!?!? even worse!!!! man, that must have been a crappy party...... if I were you man, I would beat the crap out of that DJ and take over the booth, and then put in another PVD set or something and give the crowd something they can actually dance to..... :D :D

lol sorry guyz, I'm still in shock..... in clubs here, I'd be surprized to find a DJ playing Sandstorm and not getting booed or kicked out of the booth......... :rolleyes: |

IMO the Dumonde version of Adelante is very chilling, very very awesome, 1st class Dumonde remix. Maybe you just don't like the Dumonde sound? Or the Adelante sound ... as you said :toothless

ummmmmmm I hate to break it to you guys but PvD did drop Sandstorm in two sets I have, I think it was @ Home in London and for sure it was in Mayday 2000. Sure it sucks ass NOW but before when it first came out it was a decent track. And about ppl thinking of how "Easy" it is do Dj when I get my decks I will laugh my ass off if my brother tries the same thing. I doubt he will but who knows. He's the type to think that trance is made in 2 seconds because it's electronic. "It's just noize Chris". The thing I don't get is that he listens to eurotrash and "Freestyle" and cheezey dance like Stevie B, Joee, M Jay, Sylver etc. I've TRIED to get him to see the light but alas, he's stuck in cheeze whiz land... |

The way you've described your brother seems to me to be the perfect type of person who would say that DJ'ing is "easy." Especially if he thinks trance is made in 2 seconds because it's electronic!
