Honestly, I don't think such a big deal should be made out of them selling equipment at Best Buy. I mean, it IS an electronics store. DJ equipment falls under that spectrum, so what do you expect?? Like I said before...it's not getting the gear that makes you a good DJ, it's what you do with it. Maybe it'll keep some kids off the streets and out of trouble, and if so maybe it's not such a bad thing. Rather have kids inside spinning records than out on the streets getting into BS. Why do people feel so threatened by this? They could just get it on E-Bay if they cant get it at Best Buy anyways

*stops spamming*

Now my only question is this: Will best buy let me play with the tables like they let you do with all their other equipment? Maybe drop a set in BB :tongue3 :disbelief

I am amazed that BB is doing this!! It's certainly making the scene more open to people. I hope people take advantage of this, but keep the music pure at the same time. :thepirate

Dude, you must really suck at spinning if you feel threatened by random kids being able to buy technics at Best Buy. With the increased availability of turntables, it could only make DJs better because of more competition. You know what that means . . . .SICKER DJS IN THE FUTURE!! WOOHOOOOO!!!

I agree. :D

anyways no one should feel threatened if a store added turntables to its inventory and beleive me we are way out in the public eye these days with our scene that it is too late to keep it underground as it was a few years back but it dont matter the music will never change so no problem here .as long as the music is deep and ed up ....no problem

Drag the biggest speakers from the audio area to the tables and pick a song with a TON of bass in it, and scare the crap out of people. muahahahahaha

hey, i look at it this way.. the more people that sell dj equipment, the cheaper it will get... especially if a big chain like best buy starts selling... it can only mean good things...
