I am amazed that BB is doing this!! It's certainly making the scene more open to people. I hope people take advantage of this, but keep the music pure at the same time. :thepirate

buddy!!!! I CANT WAIT TILL FRIDAY
tamtui
first I would like to say....cute picture Kimmie.

Then the real question is........HOW MUCH IS THE GEAR THERE???

I heard that CDJ-1000s are 869.00 there which is cheaper than any other store I have found.

Very tempting indeed. I can see my self getting a couple of those just cause I can't pass up a bargain. I have a problem about buying too much gear.

Techs seem to be overpriced there.

I say (PROPS TO BEST BUY IF IT'S CHEAPER)
Screw them if it's more expensive.

I don't care who sells it...I just care that I can use it and drop my music on it.

Peace

i agree with what taub said, it would be selfish not to share trance music with other people. in my search for new songs i sometimes come across a song that puts *clutches heart* "the feeling" inside me. i light up a cigarette and listen to it again carefully; listening to how the melody expands, the buildup, everything. now why wouldnt you want other people to experience the same emotions that you are feeling? i go out of my way to share new songs with my friends, most of whom dont listen to trance, so that they can maybe feel it too. also i am not that worried about hearing more trance music on the radio, i would rather applaud it. i feel that i am at a disadvantage djing in the us because i dont have the resources that djs in other countries where trance is popular have; they can refine their track selection because it is bigger. who wouldnt love to turn on the radio and get smacked in the face by some new trance music? if your identity is defined by trance then i can understand why you would feel intimidated if it becomes mainstream, but then you are ultimately listening for the wrong reason. and turntables and mixers are electronics, best buy carrying them isnt that far off the wall.

DJ Cubano
bro I suggest you don't walk into Radio Shack......you'll have a freak when you see that they have mixers that cost more than a vestax :stongue:. I guess everyone wants to be a DJ these days!!
