First and foremost....
Yoepus - When you refered to this place called 'Palistine', may i ask what planet this country is on??? I've searched all the planets in our solar system and havent found one source on 'Palistine'. Where is it and what kind of animals might live there?
PLEASE STOP REFERING TO A PLACE THAT DOESN'T EXIST - THERE IS NO SUCH COUNTRY AS PALISTINE AND WITH THE WAY THOSE ARABS ARE TRYING TO GET IT... WE SHOULD NEVER GIVE IT TO THEM!!

Secondly, i think asking the question of if the occupation ends will terror stop is the stupidest question i've heard in a while. time and time again the arabs have proved themselves as savages who cant live alongside Israel. We give up land they want more, we give up terrorists, they send in some more.
Israel is being bullied and when it finally fights back the whole anti-semitic world lashes out on them.
the European union and their funding of the PA's direct links with terror operatives all over the mid-east region.
the United Nations who attack israel and the IDF for trying to defend itself from saveges who cant get along with anyone.
Its funny how the United states and the rest of the world is going for saddam hussain and osama bin laden, yet these same atrocities are still being assigned to druged up-brainwashed-ignorant-illiterate s with peanuts for brains who believe they are going to heaven to 72 virgins (even if you actually believe this why would you want these nasty hairy ass virgins... their arabs!! eww!), by the Palistinian Authority(haha, show me some kind of authority these s have over their savage society), by Araed! I have been more than one year on TA and I have never ever seen anything that horrendous, obviously racist and hainous. This should not be tolerated and should be condemned. I cannot imagine this coming from a fellow Canadian, our great multicultural country is a place of peace and tranquility where such remarks have no place. These hainous comments were directed at one of the largest community in Canada and in short should be not tolerated at all. Nobody or no community should ever face these kinds of remarks at any occasion. Please voice your concerns in this thread and tell melech_mike what you think about his racist comments. And for you melech_mike, everyone expects explanations and excuses. |

Well the guy has some valid points, but the way he expresses them is indeed unacceptable.
Here is my view of the situation:
- Arabs do want the destruction of Israel(how else do you explain the numerous wars started during short-lived existance of Israel?) Palestinians(but not all other Arabs) kinda "have the right to want to destroy Israel", as many of them were kicked out of their own land when Israel was formed.
- Arabs got smarter and realized that wars will achieve nothing, as Israel has support of the US. As a result many terrorist organizations were formed. The goal of these terrorist organisations is the complete destruction of Israel.

I tend to side with the Israeli's on account that the terrorist activities of the Palestinians are rather counter-productive.
War hasn't worked for them
neither is blowing up their own people to kill israeli's
The most disgusting thing is that their willing to destroy Israel so that the Israeli's can't have it... well... neither can the palestinians if they keep it up? What's next? A NUKE? Let Nobody live on the sacred lands?
Oh yeah... The Israeli's... or more so, the jews, were there first. |

The truth is both Palestine and Isreal are both at fault. Both of them have had many opportunities to create peace but yet they go around and increase the violence and tensions between themselves. | I'm not picking sides because frankly I'm sick of all this fighting and war because two sides cannot find a compromise. You could go on and on about each side being wrong but I will point out "HOW MANY MORE INNOCENT PPL HAVE TO DIE?". When will people realize that no one wins in war. I think all of you need to wake the up and stop blaming one side. Takes two to fight....and this hatred you keep going on about solves nothing. Neither side is correct and can't they find peace? |

I have seen far harsher comments from arabs, Arabs who's parents came here to this beautiful country in search of a better life and now their children living here spit on it and the western world full of hatred. I dont understand it. I am not a racist and I know the problem in Israel is caused by both sides. The Isreali government should never have put their settlements on palestinian lands. And much of the land in the area has far more Christian religious significance than either of the two. Neither one deserves the land more than the other and there have been injustices from both people. But until the Arab world starts to condemn their fellow 'brothers' for brutaly assasinating innocent women and children and stop making excuses I will not support the Arab cause.
The way i see it it's very simple. If the arabs were to stop the suicide bombings today, the Israeli's would end their military occupation of palestine. If the Israeli's stopped their military occupation today as much as we would hate to admit it and as we have seen in the past the palestinians would not stop their attacks.
I simply do not see any other alternative for the israeli government other that to go after the terrorist organizations that are killing their people and being supported by the palestinian government. I would not expect any government to sit by and do nothing while their families were getting slaughtered.
This debate however could go on forever. But i dont think this is really the place. I come here to talk about music. A common love that unites us all. Lets try to keep these issues away from the music discussion. |
