for s sake
a space shuttle blows up @ 200,000 feet high and you twisted little nerd freaks cry 'conspiracy' I mean wat the
seriously, how the are you supposed to shoot down a ing space shuttle travelling @ mach-6, a missle can barely get to mach-3, let alone 200,000 feet
might I also add, that from watching CNN here in Oz, there were no assumptions of terrorism, and the complete idea was ruled out of the question.
I laugh at the fact you think your own government is out on some plot to undermine the very people who voted them in...
can't you people accept that this is a ing tragic accident and get the off your soap boxes thinking the whole world is out to get you...
get a ing grip on reality! |

No person in their right mind thinks that terrorists had anything to do with it, it's impossible. The idiots here who want to go to war because they swallow all the that our president feeds them want to blame it on someome. |

I totally agree w/ you but the shuttle was going 12,000 mph which equals mach 18
and the security checks are tighter on the shuttle than air force one......
So it had to have been something else. Not terrorism, nor a sabotage.
Coulr be anything from mechanical failure, mesospheric turbulence causing enought of a pitch or yaw to get it off its glide slope etc etc. |

Respect and moments of silence and honor goes out to the ones who innocently lost their lives. :o
We believe we control our destinies technically, but the objects built from our own hands are as prone to break then anything else.
RESPECT TO THEM. |

nothing touched me more since the sept.11 attacks. im in shock.
i read all about the israeli austronaut and i cant believe he died
its a tragedy |
can't believe he died? saying that his death is a tragedy is a bit offensive to the rest of the crew, woulnd't you say? there were several people that died. their deaths are a tragedy, yes. and i wouldn't say any of them deserve more mourning or lamentation than any of the others. |

it was simply that. mach 18 was the cause of the breakup most likely. that kind of speed coming down on a landing approach creates insupportable air friction and turbulence.
and as for terrorism, the nasa panel dismissed that idea in the first minute of the press conference. if i was on the board and a reporter asked me that question, i would just sigh, stand up, walk up to the reporter and punch him in the face for being a tool.
then again, that's just me. |
