Well I'd Have to say that this PvD would be on the bottom quarter of the list. I have missed maybe 2 PvD's since he started playing at Twilo. The Wait killed it a bit , longest I have ever waited to get into a club as well as PvD. I didn't get in the doors till around 2:40. I was one of the last 10 people in with my friends. If it werent for that bum rush to the door and re-shuffle of people we would not have made it . Anyways the set sounded like it was pretty bangin from outside when it started. Once we got in the tracks were damn good, but from like 4:30 or 5 till about 7:20 it seemed like a lot of filler. Breaks were cool though.
Then the last hour was the PvD I have come to know , BANGIN! Step right on was the .
but during the "filler" time I was thinking back to one year and two year @ twilo . Damn that was good . I'd have to say the last time he was at roxy was better. Anyways thats just my 2 cents. Oh the drive home didnt help either. Overall PvD dosent let you down but I didn't feel the "energy" an Boo for not having new eye candy. |

Sorry for posting so late on this, but I just got back from NYC.
OMFG!!! I had an AWESOME time, my FIRST PvD experience was INCREDIBLE!! He dropped sooo many bombs, so many tracks I've wanted to hear live for such a long time.....I was high on PURE PVD the whole time :crazy: :eyespop:
It was fun to meet some of you guys, at the dinner/club/breakfast. I don't remember everyones names, there's soo many of you. If ya don't remember who I was, I had the spiky blonde hair, the dude from Detroit.
Hey jdat, you should come up to Detroit for Dimitri!! Akron isn't that far :) |

i just got back today and i must add my thoughts about one of the best pvd shows ever!
FIRST THE MUSIC:
wow..what a ing set! all the happy euphoric songs that i never heard him spin b4 i heard for the first time ! among my firsts: face2face, Aquanuts-Deep Sea, On the Run (ocean to shore remix), words, Circ-destroy she said..
SECOND THE SHOW:
having gone to both Chicago and Boston the previous 2 days, i had to say that the Roxy show kicked both of them in the asses! woot! the crowd and vibe was incredible. even though i was tired, i still enjoyed the show sitting for a couple hours (thx lisa 4 keeping me company). i'm glad i saw this show sober since i was able to experience everything as real as it could be
THIRD THE PEOPLE:
shows are great, but what really makes a show are the people who you see. guys you talk to online all the time, and whom i spend time with on the forums

at roxy...well, i kinda had to leave early (around 4:30) but the

i can't really comment on pvd's set since i didn't get to hear the
whole thing..but from what i heard til 4:30...i defenitely liked
it better than the one i heard at roxy before. ;) |
