First 4-5hrs of the set was incredible but started to get monotonous towards the end imo. a very good set overall but i thought his nov set @ roxy had much more energy... but i am not complaining. I still had a blast. Great vibe, good music, good friends...what more can you ask for? :D

I got really sick Friday and almost didn't make it to NYC. I finally made it at 2:30 am after a few hours sleep that gave me some energy. The line was absolutely ridiculous, but I managed to cut-in with my gf. Ran into RubyRiva and Pyro in the first 10 minutes, LOL!! I sure got a horseshoe up my butt....

Paul's set was great for the 2.5 hours I was there. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well and couldn't get into it or dance without getting dizzy, so I finally gave up and left at 5:30. Can't believe I got sick the day of my first PVD gig.

It was great to see RubyRiva and her group, Pyro the lazerboy (haha), Bobby, EnigmaT. I met a few more TA's who's names I forgot unfortunately. I tried to find NY1004 and KidNYC, but no luck, so hope to see you guys next time.

PVD, I'll pay my respect to you Hooman-style soon!!

It was 'ok'

*pf..*

*pffft*

*buahahahhahaha*

ok, it was incredible. Thanks Herr van Dyk ;) I had one of the best times ever. I think this set beat my previously attended 'best pvd' set (LFA 2002) because it was straight up good. He did not slow down/ drop crappy tracks at the end, like he did at LFA.

Thanks to all my friends, with whom I spend an awesome weekend. I now need to recover for more maddness in the fatherland next weekend.

no track id's from me, the only trak I really remmebered was that 'deep blue sea' thing he spun at some point. and the fact, that this track does have a rather nice build-up that ends up being quite speedy.

I like speed. Speed is good.

I am curious to see what this Paul guy does next weekend :)

I couldnt disagree more, I thought the first few hours were good, the middle was ok, and the end was kickass. I did think however, that the encore was quite weak. All in all, an amazing show=)

Maybe i was just getting really tired towards the end...I had no rest after an exhausting day at the office. Everything ~5:30-7am seemed slow tempoed and not his usual signature high energy stuff. Kinda lost interest and left @ 7:15 (I've heard that he picked it back up soon after) but I was competely exhausted by then (one of the very few nights I didnt close out his party).

wow its been a crazy week for us pvd fans huh?!? i saw a lotta you guys there... i recognize many of you and of course know you from your posts and pics here... i just havent ever made an effort to be known myself...but you might have seen me in a black twilo hat that had pvd's sig. on the visor. i just wanna say what's up to those cool ass kids that were chillin with me in line for three in hours and then going nuts to PvD on the floor! i love meeting people that appreciate this man even half as much as i do.
well, this is my experience-

i checked him out @ factory in ohio on tuesday night.... to my surprise that 3 hour set was ing off the hook AND the crowd had a lotta energy. some bangin ass trancers in this set. those of you that were @ glow, this set was comparable, but way BETTER!!!! HOT!

ROXY: i used to be one of those people that disagreed about this venue/club sucking but this time around, i am beginning to share some of those sentiments. the security/management was obnoxious as hell. however, they do have good lights and awesome sound (if you're in the right area)....certain spots do really lack the mids though, especially up front. this may be phazon but it sure as hell is not the same as what was in twilo. too bad i only realized the center was the best spot at the end. the dj booth sucks ass cause you could barely see pvd's head from the floor! and being up in his face the whole time with no space to dance whatsoever doesn't work out too well either.

PVD: wow, wow, wow. can this guy ever fail to blow you away? first of all, i love the six hour sets. this one was full of suprises. i liked how he didn't give a flyin about staying current and played whatever he wanted and what new york has gone nuts to so many times before in the past @ TWILO and the other few gigs since all of us became "homeless". :( it really sucked for me that i missed about the first hour of his set... walking in to synaesthesia was a pleasant experience though. it put a smile on my face immediately- the last time i heard him spin that was april 13 2001, the very last pvd gig before twilo was shut down. it took me a while to really get a feel for where the set was going. i am one of those people that needs to be there for the very first song until the end. i was a little disoriented walking into a set that had started before me with an already jumping around pvd :)
but that all ended fast! pvd did a great job. his track selection speaks for itself. he played older pleasers and new gems. i don't want to repeat all the tracks everyone has already mentioned, we all know they ing rock, but didn't you guys hear that awesome dark mix of for an angel???? fox, is this the nu-nrg mix that was a tune of the month for you? that is what i put together if there is such a thing but it was definitely for an angel and a new interesting mix. i have heard this mix at glow, factory and now roxy. i think its cool as . yay for nu-nrg tracks, just missing take your air 2002 but i heard that in ohio :D hmm what else, i could go on forever and ever but you guys were there and you know it rocked!!! i feel bad for you guys that were turned away with tickets. i know it would have killed me... or i would have killed someone. i drove 6 hours for this thing with an already pvd-estroyed excuse of a body. to finish it up, this set was awesome... he went into prog and tech in the middle. i love it when he goes progressive and then takes his time to bring the energy back slowly but so surely to tare the ing roof off!!!!!! the last two hours were the best time ever. AWESOME. now if only i can make wmc.

the disappointments for me- no SPELL, roxy-related bull.... and i was trying to scream as loud as i could cause i REALLY wanted just one more song. by the way guys, pvd rocked some badass mix of jose amnesia - the eternal as his very last track in ohio...it was off the hook.

the new version of nothing but you is chill and cool as .

on my drive back to ny i was listening to together we will conquer. it made me think of the dvd with NvD's nice vocals and i thought, you know, she is usually there at the club at least at the end of the night, how ing phat would it be if she sang this song live??!? i know i would love it. someone suggest it to paul!
