U guys are nuts. PVD set was worst PVD set EVER!!
6 hours of simply slapping on OLD songs in no particular order.. He would go euphoric, melodic and then suddenly jump into hard SF style beats.. WTF was that..
Very very inconsisent set, last hour especially..
His wmc 2002 set was best set I ever heard, this one was worst ever...
I iunderstand that he was promoting his GLobal CD, which SUCKED also.... I am in that DVD, btw (in Exit)
He betta not disappoint me @ wmc 2003 in Space.. Cuz I will start flaming him... and his fans (sorry Atruro)..
Nice seeing many of you, sunshine79, I still didnt meet u...
Thanks for clovers and mints!!!
Proky - nice see see u again..
And who is that kid in Hawaiian red shirt..
Nice seeing Kerpal from Punjabi (I mean Washington, DC)... |

| Im pretty sure i remember Tiesto throwing in Lamb - Gorecki in a couple of his sets (not nyc). First time i heard it was on Dave Seaman - Back to Mine, great chillout album for after the club. |

Holyyyyy !
I just got back to Montreal from New York. Almost 48 hours with no sleep, 18 hours spent in the bus, waiting 3 hours in the line (we sneaked in the club right before police started sending everyone home:whip: ),terrible experience with american fast food (for some reason food in US just sucks, or may be u have to know places?). BUT! It was TOTALLY worth it! PVD dropped one of the most amazing sets i've ever heard live!!! The club, the sound system, the lazers were ok (i am spoiled by Aria and Viva - our canadian clubs;)), PVD was jumping and dancing all along his set and seemed to have an amazing time in the club:D
I even made a request - wrote on my cell phone the name of my fav. track - Another Way, and gave it to him. He looked on my phone, smiled and returned it to me. I thought he's gonna play it, but he did not :( Anywayas, he played soooo many amazing tunes that i just cant complain.
So the bottom line is:
Trip to New York and back - 160$
GEtting a ticket with PVD-DVD discount -40$
Spending money on the food, water in the club, and transportation in New York - 40$
5 hours of PVD that i've heard - ING PRICELESS!!!!!
PS Props to all TA's that i've met, sorry guys did not spend any time with u - the minute i got in front of the dj booth i just could not go away:D :D :D |
