Toca Me is a really good song, I couldn't get enough of it back in 1999.
Then everyone went mad about 'Miracle', and some idiot at school couldn't believe that I preferred the song Toca Me to Miracle.
Everything Fragma has done since is well produced, but a bit too commercial for my tastes. If only they went back to their first song.

Agreed. Talent is not stealing a classic tune and adding some cheesy vocals, all in an effort to earn money and fame.

the thing that worries me is that there are actually people out there like Fragma which even thinks about making a cheese remake of one of the most popular trance anthems ever.

LOL, if Energy 52 got this remixed on vinyl when they released the track, and it didn't have the fragma name on it, everyone would praise it. The song is pretty much the same thing with the vocals and a few tweaks.
How can you like Cafe Del mar and not like the Fragma version. They are essentially the same tune.
I don't know, I don't label songs as cheese because of the artist(s) involved, but then again to each their own |
