How many people that like Tiësto actually listen to his livesets? Or even know where to get them?

Good question, i'd like to now how many Tiesto fans are out there that don't have access to the interent and his livesets.

And, by this, I don't mean TA members but the "regular" listeners. 90% of the stuff on this album is new to them.

I guess I fall under the 10%. I've been a big Tiesto fan for sometime now and I try to follow his livesets since he has a great taste track selection.

With a cd complimation there should be some fresh stuff on the disc(s) and to me, it just seems like he did not put much effort into finding some un-heard tracks or tracks he hasn't been spining for 5 months now.......

I have to disagree here. Don't bash him for using "old" tunes on a mix CD, since he wants to put the most quality tunes he can find on that, whether old or new. It's what any sensible person would do. Plus the tunes he uses are pretty much tried and true; the record company would have qualms about releasing a CD with a bunch of unheard tunes, even if it is still Tiesto. I think he put a great deal of effort into finding the tracks that would have the widest possible appeal to all of his fans, and you do that by chsing whatever makes the crowd go wild when you spin and not by using the newest thing that someone pushes under your nose.

^^^^ Um...ambrus....Tiesto OWNS Blackhole Recordings...at least he owns half of it together with Arny Bink. Tiesto started Blackhole at the time he released Magik 1 in 1997. While he has hired people to see to the business side of things, Tiesto is a majority owner and therefore has a final say in things. It's HIS decision which artists are hired and it's HIS decision TOTALLY what tracks he wants to put on a mix CD.

Like I said, I wasn't talking about us TA/other "web people" but a regular listener who's heard about Tiësto only through his previous albums and maybe a couple of gigs he/she may have gone to.

Besides, a good tune is a good tune, not matter how often you hear it :)

I took a quick listen to this one and I wasn't that impressed. I shall take another listen.

I was just listening to it a few ago. I'm a great fan of Tiesto and I gotta say that I wasn't totally impressed. CD1 ain't too great really, although I like it for parts. Now CD2 is just excellent, the tracks and the flow are nicely put into each other, CD2 definately rocks.

Tiesto made a great release, I don't get why many complain, it wasn't that HUGE of an album but it's still great, and I don't say that just because it's tiesto.

well imo. cd2 has awesome flow. I am enjoying it very much.Even though these tracks have been around for a while it's still pleasing to the ear to hear them flow one right after the other.Great cd a definate buy
