ALL THOSE SAYING: "oh pvd has done all this for trance"....BOOOHOOO..
yet he doesnt associate himself with trance..how sad...
I loved his old productions...but nowadays the only time i turn up his tunes is if im really bored or i need to dance cuz im bored(he can make u dance)..besides that. He is boring IMO |

pvd for me is the best dj/producer out there.
but i dont like it when he plays breaks for example...or progressive house...its not pvd |

Each DJ has to variate or otherwise everyone will sound the same. Hell, they all can the same choons now - why bother? It's like this jukebox has these records, that jukebox has those records - but they are all the same, just in different order. So, when dj wonders off into new or "unfamiliar to you" territory it doesn't classify it as "". Works for some, doesn't for others.
I say stop this stupidity and if you feel you have to blurt something stupid out - at least base it on something credible. Sorry, but I don't count your opinion as "credible" - nor would it change my views about PvD. So, in the grand scheme of things - your brainfart stank up the room but it will vent out and the only thing that will remain is that you were the one that farted.

if all the people on this forum did that, everyone would have the same opinions, and we'd be forced to put up with the some producers come out with....
simple facts are PvD's done all for quite a while now (with exception of Guide me God), and he goes through prolonged stages of not being able to mix......
thats why he's , not because he wonders off and does something unfamiliar....
but then it's never really mattered to the vandit gang, as soon as you hear that bassline, you're practically jizzing in your panties......

and 'Tijs' sucked big hairy donkey balls for the majority of last year, theres no bandwagon, when you mix poorly, play the same set for 6 months and release bad tunes, what else is there to say? |

I agree with you 100%. As soon as that bassline and those hi-hats kick in it doesn't matter what the rest of the song sounds like, the Vandit wh0r3z go into "auto-orgasm" mode. PvD's productions bore me, and IMO he only has 3 good tunes: Another Way, For an Angel, and his recent production Animacion. |

You are sad to think he doesnt do for trance... He associates himself with the whole genre of electronic music and not just trance, all his productions arent pure trance tracks.
Another thread about 1 certain dj and the flaming begins cuz they wanna make sure other dj's sound worse then "their fav" dj's... Gay.
Look at his tracklist from his eastcoast sets in the past 2 yrs, its 'n siiick. |

there are a few I like, the Age of Love mix is cool, threatens to go somewhere, but doesn't which is strange, but ok, TPOD mix of Empire is good, Guide me God is really good, the best he's done in a long long time.......
Born Slippy remix is a classic though :D

haha its like dat for any dj and their fans... i've seen sasha digweed to pvd , tiesto , johan, whoever... dont matter who... as soon as their track comes in, the crowd goes crazy, even if its nothing special in particular about the beat , they just supporting their dj's. Somehting wrong with taht? |

PvD productions of late have lacked quality
IMO it's because he thinks he can get away with using the same bloody samples every time....
and if theres 50 retards in Vandit t-shirts at every gig he plays at, tossing each other off at the front as he plays his rework of the new P.Diddy track, he's not going to change....
and theres something very wrong with that ;) |
