This new bitch of a store manager just got hired, Polly. I've worked at my (ex) job for 2 years. She apparently told the regional boss EVERYTHING that I was doing "wrong" (which amounts to not using measuring cups to pour out milk when I make hot chocolates...which I can do by sight since I've been working there FOR TWO YEARS). And apparently I'm not very puncutual...which is definitely not true.
So I go to work today, 15 minutes early for my shift ...my regional manager meets me outside and asks for my key. And then procedes to tell me that he's going to have to let me go and that it's been a long time coming. Polly (the name should say it all) informed him of everything. So I then say I have to go inside to grab my . He says that he can't let me inside :wtf: and that he will grab my stuff for me. This is a RETAIL STORE and there are NO customers inside at the moment, so I sit there and argue with him for 30 seconds about why I can't be let in to grab my stuff. I go in, and Polly is there. She doesn't even look at me. Grrrr...
And the most ed up thing is that this girl I work with is a complete spaz. She threw a plate at my former store manager, DIDN'T GET FIRED. She fabricated an e-mail, pretending to be a customer, in order to get their other girl fired, in which she was. Once again, no repercussions.
Life's a bitch.

get unemployment, look for another job, and if you're that pissed, go talk to an attorney for being wrongfully terminated.

| I got fired once. I went home, cried, got really drunk, ate some chicken wings (I don't eat meat), and then realized my boss was a jerkface and to this day I feel great about not showing up those last few days. |

| Getting fired sucks, but this sounds like one of those situations where after a few days or weeks, you realize that things have indeed worked out for the best. Hang in there. |
