[edit] pis of ty face rash posted on page 2 towards the bottom

Ok, I'll get flamed for this for sure. But I know at least 3 people will give a genuine answer...

Synopsis:

I get these things I've named "traveling spider bites," which consist of raised bumps almost exclusively on my face that are stingy and itchy, and if I scratch them they puss orange. Always orange. They spread no matter what. They're usually fleeting, lasting only a day or two and then disappear, only to reappear somewhere else nearby. They're typically all over my face, especially forehead lately and along the jawline, though originally started on my cheek. They're sometimes behind the ears, occasionally on the neck, and rarely anywhere else on the body. Never on the nose or near the mouth or genitals (so no it's not Herpes).

The only thing that eliminates the symptoms is Desonide, but I can't use that after two weeks because it starts to thin the skin permanently if used on a prolonged basis. So after two weeks of use and pristine skin, the bumps start to come back. If I go about two weeks without using Desonide (just one application) the bumps swell to the point where I look like I got beat up.

Dermatologists have no clue what it is. I got tested for bacteria: nothing, though I suspect they didn't test it well enough. Got tested for allergies, and I'm allergic to Decyl Glucoside. That seems to be the ostensible culprit, as I have been watching my hands regularly with a soap that has that ingredient in it! But now that the soap has been discarded three days ago the symptoms are not alleviated at all. And unfortunately everyone at the office that has access to this "list" of products I can buy that do not have Decyl Glucoside (or derivatives, parents, or mixtures of) are all on vacation at the same time. So now I'm left in the dark wondering what the I'm using now that has some sort of Decyl Glucoside or related product in it?!?

Anyway, this is pretty much an ongoing source of my depression and pure hatred towards life in general. I've visited the dermatologist about 8 times over several months, and nothing has helped. Maybe one of you guys can shed some light or provide clues to help my situation?

Cor version: AIDS on my face

do you think it could have anything to do with your diet? sleeping patterns and such?

The dermatologists said an allergy from food would be more dispersed and not just on my face. What I have is like 95% on my face and 5% on the rest of my body (mostly neck). It's like whatever is on my face tries to go to the rest of my body but then is like "nah I like the face better" and travels back. Having said that, I've learned to not fully trust everything a dermatologist says, as the next dermatologist will invariably contradict the previous one in some aspect.

Someone suggested maybe my pillows have buckwheat in them which contain glucoside. But I'm allergic to Decyl Glucoside which I think is an entirely different compound.

Seems viral to me .

Maybe it's whatever you're using to shave?

If you have a severe allergic reaction it can take a while for it to completely leave your system, even if you've already gotten rid of the allergen. Example: I tossed that nickel belt maybe 2 months ago, is now finally starting to completely disperse.

Get on a low dose antibiotic, regardless of what your doctor couldn't find it sounds like a bacterial infection. If you want a good topical remedy try naam oil, or tea tree oil while on the antibiotics.

I know its not really possible to change your pillowcase every night, but maybe try wrapping it in a clean towel before sleeping for the next week.

Considering a dermatologist it meant to be an 'expert' in skin disorders, it's odd that nothing has worked over the past few months. Have you tried seeking consult from alternative doctors?

It's not rosacea?

Try putting a clean towel on your face at night while you sleep.

If it's the soap and you're having an allergic reaction it can take a long time for it to completely leave your system.

if you stop participating in those Extreme Bareback Bukkake Parties then I think it will clear right up.
