Oh it was so so soooooooooooooo bad.. what a waste of time! Good thing I snuck in or I'd be regretting paying for it too. If I wanted to see a video game on screen, I'd do just that. And the cheese factor.. oh so high.. They completely ruined the entire story with this third one. If you liked the first and second, please DO NOT see this one.
On the other hand, since I already snuck inside, I went to check out Kill Bill vol.1.. simply: B R I L L I A N T. Tarantino is a god. Production was so superb, the fight scenes amazing, can't wait for the second. |

I agree with brunette, the fight scenes were pretty cheesy, but the reason why I watched the movie in the first place was to find out more of the story. Like I said before (on this forum I think), the beauty is that not everything is revealed, and a lot of references are made to litterature/religion which give the movie a deeper meaning than just "that action flick with the bullet timing". But anyways, that's a philosopher's view on the movie ;)
I'll have to watch it again to look for some small details to see if some of my theories about the storyline are correct, but it might have to wait until the DVD is out ;) |

fight scenes were really cool...like those guys walking on ceiling, and zion (xion?) fight was really well done...especially with the giant drills
the neo/smith fight was really ty if uve ever watched animes...like dbz or something...but they still had theyre moments |

If you'll look closely, you'll see just how much the fighting style has changed from the first movie. Back then the camera was more static, and let you see the moves executed in a manner that you could follow. In the second movie, there was waaay too much motion with the camera during the integral fighting scenes.
An example would be the subway fighting scene from the first movie, very cool because it was easy to follow. In the second movie, the whole 100 Smiths on Neo scene was way too much. It turned into something very unrealistic, and realism was what kept the first movie on top of the action movie list.
The third movie got a little bit better, like you said, with the club fight, but even that was a bit exaggerated beyond proportions, albeit pretty cool :) The Smith fight at the end was crap, the people who went to see the movie with me were saying "wtf?" the entire time :P Would have been a lot cooler had they kept it on the ground and maybe involved hand weapons, rather than good superman vs. bad superman kinda fight. I think we've all seen enough of DBZ not to have to see it in a modern movie :P |

nope...Neo doesn't equal Smith. They are opposites of eachother. Neo = One, and Smith = negative One. They cancel eachother out when they merge. |

ok sorry i should have shown it better.
(-1)(NEO) = Smith
or if it makes u feel better, Neo = (-1)(Smith) |

lol rocco man its not algebra, u cant defind neo and smith as integers, and they dont cancel each other out!! all the oracle meant was the neo and smith both want the same goals and fight for the same things, and neo's code is a part of smith now, and that is why they are one, which is also why neo cant kill smith without also killing himself
but i just saw the movie so i could be off, gotta watch it again... |

I was having a discussion about whether Neo dies or does not, so what you say there actually forwards my proof that Neo is dead at the end :P The ultimate self-sacrifice triggers the machines' "virtual" emotions (Those demonstrated by the Indian gentleman in the train station) to actually follow through with the agreement, and I guess they honour him for that :P
Now my question is whether the Architect's statement at the end of "I'm not human" to say that the peace won't last forever, and whether the outside machine city overlords have any control over the Architect, since they don't over many of the other programs like the French guy :D |

thing is.. Neo is human, not a program. Therefore, he has no code.
Edit: maybe he is a program and we'll find that out in Matrix 4... courtesy of Warner bros greed for more $$ of course. :D |
