I never understood this concept.. i was talking to infinity high over MSN and i realized he was another one of these drink buying guys..
why do girls expect you to buy them a drink? i mean they don't ask, but they expect! do i look like an open bar to you? !
and what's wrong with buying them just ONE drink? plenty! that's $7.50 you could have spent on yourself!
stop buying drinks for women! you're already wasting money of future generations! :whip: |

With all due respect to hot girls and the guys who buy drinks for them, buying them drinks is a surefire way NOT to pick them up in clubs (in bars this is different, however). Since most of them are used to that kind of attention, they'll just accept your offer, say thanks for the drink, and move along to the next victim...
And no, I'm not bitter, I have never bought girls drinks (unless they are already friends of mine), this is all from the experience of my friends who play this game...
If you have some sort of reasonably long conversation first (i.e. in a bar or if you find a quiet enough spot in a club), then it's different, because then you know they have at least some interest and aren't just shilling you for booze. Otherwise, don't bother, you really are wasting your time.
Girls, you want to really impress a guy, offer to buy them a drink! Asking for them to buy you one is so old hat! |

| My advice is don't buy them drinks until you know it's going somewhere. I know guys who buy girls drinks to start up a conversation or to get their attention but I don't think it really works. They already know if they wanna do you or not within 1 minute of meeting you. Might as well pay the girl a compliment get the ball rolling. Ten minutes later if you're still talking then consider buying her a drink. If you're not getting good feedback move to the next one and save your $$$ :toothless: |
