Umm...I have always argued this same exact issue in my head for sometime now but never brought it out into public discussion...now since I have the chance to do so, I would just like to say one thing:
THEY'RE ONLY DJ'S PEOPLE!!

There's no mystery, I just used this once years ago and haven't bothered to come up with anything better ever since. But what does that have to do with the thread? |

and id like to add to that...
AND THEY PLAY ONLY IN CLUB MUSIC ffs...i know thats what this forum is about and i respect that ...hell i even love the tunes but end of the day for the rest of the world who isnt on the forums and doesnt listen to electronica,,,theyre only djs there to play tunes to get a party going..no trance productions no matter how well produced will ever come close to being timeless classics like the beatles or queen....that really is the harsh truth !!!! |

thats a matter of opinion also, maybe in your eyes theyre timeless classics, to me theyre jsut two artists loadsa people liked before i was even born who play music i dont even enjoy at all. |

well i just sorta put those as examples of timeless classics....theyre not my fave either..but the point im trying to make is trance will never be embraced as much as mainstream pop is...
tiesto'concert might havemade his music more known to the world ..but the result has been that Tiesto is now a pop act slotted into the same category of what the mainstream world enjoys listeing ot on their local radio station..and whether we liek it or not.DJs are eventually gonna do what makes them more money...EOD |

| of course i think everyone will post here agreeing with whats been said. I personally like to think that i like songs before dj's, but i still have my favorites. its the one's that think of the dj's as being superstars that are the problem. if you look at someone and use the word "god" to descrbie them...even if it is being used as a term of greatness...you are putting these people waaaay to high. there average shmoes just like us only there better at making music and are good performers. |
