Thanks, we'll do it by pre-recorded sets, Proitious was uploading his set an hour ago, and I'll upload mine sometime tomorrow, so by tomorrow evening you should be able to listen to our wonderfull sets and announce the winner (me ;) :p ) |

| Alright, I give up. I can't solve the recording problems so the victory is for Proitious and I quit. |

What are you using to record? |

I tried Audacity, Sound Forge and just now Advanced MP3 WMA Recorder. What I can tell from sound Forge is that the incoming signal is to loud (the VU meter on Sound Forge is constantly in red). Eventhow the line volume recorder is at 0 and my channel volume meters of my mixers at 0. |

Did you checked your gains? :P
Try recording something in forge then highlight the entire recording and go PROCESS - NORMALIZE |

Yes gains that's what I meant, they are at 0
I tried normalizing, it just makes everything sound a little more quit, it doesn't affect the (horrible) quality at all.

Well if it sounds like crap in everything- maybe you have it plugged in the wrong places or the cable is bad. |
