| Yeah but rap has to come from somewhere. I mean, if it's not electronically made, WHAT IS IT??? Is there some naturally-occuring tree off in like the jungles of south america that produces rap music from sun, water and air, where such catchy samples as 'yaw' and 'mother******' are harvested, packaged and sent out to consumers around the world? I would hate to live in a region featuring the perfect climate for growing rap trees I can TELL YOU!!! |

Hmmm... someone needs some. Electronica (or electronic music) = techno(detroit/u.k./german), trance(melodic,vocal,psy/goa,hard,uplifting,prog), house(hard,deep,lounge), hard-style, hardcore, dance (euro, new york), jungle, ambient/chillout
now, RAP.. even though it uses decks(turntables), drum machines and is produced in studio etc. etc. .. is not Electronica .. its created electronically no doubt about that(even though groups such as The Roots create it old fashioned way with a real band) but it doesnt fit the criteria of ELECTRONICA GENRE.. tnx |
