On a somewhat related note: just because you listen to trance, and the rest of the people you know doesn't necessarily mean you have an open mind. It can mean you have diffrent taste, it might mean that they listened to trance and *gasp* didnt like it, hell theres even a chance that they are closed minded.
Just because you listen to trance doesn't mean your open minded, and just because the kid sitting next to you in class likes top 40 stuff doesnt mean he's a trendwhore. |

Thats what I thought. The whole point is, and yes its already been stated, that we all have different opinions and just because we don't agree with another persons opinion doesn't make us right. This is a pretty kick as forum so lets not ruin it with remarks that get us no where. |

I think you misunderstood me, sure if I was to say that listening to Hipop is "stupid" then I would be stupid my self, but my point was that it's pretty stupid to be posting a Hip Hop thread on a "tranceaddict" website, as for my brother or anyone can listen what ever the F*@# they want I don't give a , and as if there isn't enough webistes or TV and radio on hip hop that he has to posted on tranceaddict, it's like if I was to go to a Country music or Hip Hop website and post about trance, I think I would be pretty stupid to do that, and why would I would to post trance topics and Hip hop or Country when I can post on tranceaddict or any other trance related websites?
As for those who say that " the only people who are close minded are the trance overs who flames other trance lovers that like trance are the close minded ones" come on..... you sound like a little 10 year kid! sure I don't like Hip hop but was I flaming hip hop lovers or hip hop music? I was pointing out how stupid it is to post a Hip Hop on a tranceaddict website and if you read carefully you would understand that, BTW all you hip hop, country, teen pop, gangster rap lovers out there, you guys can listen what ever the you want I don't give a , I love trance since 1997 that's why I'm here, let's stop fighter among us trance lovers, we are all here because we lover trance so let's keep on trancing.

| I saw this definition of rap music a while ago , let's see : RAP music = Retards Attempting Poetry . This is how it went . Sorry , but most of 'em can't even hit a note . Electronic music OWNZ !!1 ... & I did hear somebody on the radio this morning predicting that in 10 years rap and hip-hop will disappear - I sure hope so . Peace ... |

I dont know about you but i listen to music for feeling and emotion not for technical superiority. some very simple music can be very moving. for example: nirvana wasnt too sophicticated but it was damn good music. and just because rap`s filled with blacks from poor areas doesnt mean they arnt talented... theres sooooo much musical talent in hip hop. im sure alot of them have more knowledge about music and producing then any of us could dream of having. you dont have to know why something sounds right or wrong, you just need to know its right or wrong!
anys it all comes down to how you want to be moved some people wana be moved in a chilled way some people wanna gonna nuts... others want both at different times... |
