It was ing awesome. THe opening dj had some good sets, but then ARMIN tore that place up. I was dancing constantly from when Armin came, to the end. I met some TA's over there. I was by the booth when the whole system died, and like somebody previously mentioned, all the led's, and controls were out. Everybody started shouting Armin when the system died, so it was cool. Im little bit disapointed , that roxy wouldnt let me take my digi-cam in.

Overy all IT WAS ING GREAT.:D :D

Remy def had a good set. He did a good job getting me in the mood for armin.
Armin was amazing. Played so many good songs. I was on the stage basically the whole time. I saw some TAs but didn't get to meet any of you, maybe next time.
I went over to Virgin and so many other places before to find something he could sign and there was nothing. that was the only disappointment. I hope he comes to NYC again soon.

I must say Roxy did a much better job this time of sorting out the line with ticketholders and guestlist on 1 side and non-ticketholders on the other side. Remy played a perfect opening set with just the right amount of build for the opening. Armin came on and just TOOK OVER. Great set, saw a lot of TA's in front of the booth, but no sneakers were flying last night, did see a girl hand Armin her purse though lol. I told him to go through and get some drink money lol. Armin was def. glad to be there except for the 2 incidents already mentioned. He was dancing and singing in the booth and I think he really felt the crowd cheering him on because he was supposed to stop at 6, but he winked at us and said "maybe a few more???" hehe. The final numbers were somewhere in the 1,600 range which is pretty damn good considering the last time Armin was here there were like 100 people by the end of the night. This time most of the people were still there at 6.

Good seeing some ta's last night and for KidNyce sporting the Dutch Flag in the booth (although Armin never got a chance to sign it I dont think)

Great night, no sleep, time for Marco :D

I feel some regret not going to this show... :sadgreen:

The next time he is here, I definitely will not miss it.

All I can say is 'WOW' !!! What an awesome set by Armin. He simply tore it up from start to finish (excpet for those 2 pauses) and played a bangin' set. I cant wait for him to come back to NY. A definite must see. His energy level was great. He even took time out at the beginning of the night to walk around the dance floor and talk to people.
Oh, yeah he played Alilbi - Eternity (i died)!!! What an amazing night! BTW, I liked Remy's set too. :happy2:

Took the words right out of my mouth.

Anyone know the name of that song that he played with the ridiculous amounts of breakbeats?

Yeah...I did a doubletake when I saw Armin on the floor!
Like an "in-awe-of-the-dj" moron, I followed him a little bit, and then tapped him on then shoulder.

I told him I had a great time in D.C.. He said thanx, and shook my hand. Sweeeeet. ^_^

After "Dirty Sticky Floors", Armin had just started to mix-in Jewel's "Intuition (Markus Schulz Coldharbour remix), when the amp died. That definitely sucked. If the problem had persisted for longer, things could've gotten ugly! ;)

Rest of his set was awesome. Definitely got a nice work-out on the dancefloor. =) Airwave vs. Rising Star "Sunspot" (DCML remix) was definitely one of the highlights for me. I have it on vinyl, and it remains one of my favorite uplifting tracks.

Saw/met a few of the TA's, including TrancEyes.
I missed the diner meet because I got there later than I had planned. Got myself 2 kittens recently, and as much as I love them, they ed up my sleeping pattern! ;P

A rather interesting highlight for me was near the end, when I was up by the dj booth, watching Armin finish his set. I got a tap on the shoulder, turned around, and there was this girl. And before I could even say "hello", she had her tongue in my throat!:tongue2 Did anyone else witness this?? Is she actually on this board??

I definitely was not the only guy she frenched, and her reasoning was "I just felt like doing it".

Hey...no complaints here. ^_^

Overall, awesome night. I'm glad I got off my ass and did the 2+ hour drive to see Armin again.

Dude, I think she was going up to everybody!!! She even went up to the girl next to me I was talkin to and kissed her!!!:D

OMG!! Armin threw it down!!

He totally banged it out, great set. So many good tunes too.Flawless Mixing, and totally was working the crowd. He seemed like he was having a great time and NYC was showin' him plenty of love.
Roxy is too big though! I didn't see any TA's. I was sporting a white tshirt with the armin angel guy from Alibi - Eternity on the front, and The Dust.wav angel on the back.
I was at the front of the dance floor, I spotted lunasea on the little balcony thing, was that where all you TA's were?

Tunes I remember In order I'll try lol
Dave Gahan - Dirty Sticky Floors (Junkie XL)
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (AvB)
Solid Globe - North Pole
Red Pill, Blue Pill(Junkie XL) (Why can't i think of the artist right now lol)
Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Sweeping Strings)
Alibi - Eternity
Marco V - C:\del *.mp3 (OMG What a great encore)

Anyone know the name of the song with the female vocals that said something along the lines of "Drift on the tides of what you may find?"

Damn...sounds like it was a bangin' night! Too bad I had to miss that one. I made it up to NYC back in December, but I sure wish I could have been there partyin' with u guys. Sucks about the power outages. Is it just me or every time I hear a review of a show at Roxy, that this happens? It happened in December for Armin, now again, and at Tiesto back in May. WTF? Sounds like Roxy's got some problems to address. Anyway, glad u all had such an awesome time!
