Went to the Guv for the first time ever last night...
had a Wicked time...got there around 11:30, was in the Kool Haus till 1:30 waiting for GUY...realise that we're in the wrong room, so my buddies and I headed to the Guv and sure enough there was Guy throwin down some wicked choons....Nrc - here comes the rain did it for me...all in all 10/10. amazing. |

wrong it's called "DK - Murder Was The Bass" it was mislabled because the label code on the vinyl says release #DK08... but actually it's just DK! |

good to see everyone out on saturday!
i didn't have the best time due to some stomach problems that lasted most of the night. i went to this for danny and he rocked it, so i can't really complan about the music, as well, it was great to see the TA's- ppl that i adore the pants off of!
other than feeling kindof physically ill and not being able to dance too much b/c of this, another bad thing happened. after matt (ryanmarcus on TA) realized that he had left a back door unlocked, he went back to lock it having to pay cover again. this is annoying but not that bad, but what really sucked was when we cam out in the morning the back window was smashed w/ glasss everywhere, my cell phone and our wallets were stolen. luckily we left no money, just SIN cards, health cards and video cards etc. i also left my maxed out credit card that they tried to make cash advances w/, but that was just not going to happen, given the fact that i had like 10 bucks space on it.
after that, we went back to nat's where her and her roommate took good care of us, helping us to cancel my cell and credit card and putting poly-sporin on my cutes from the glass- those are great girls!

wohoo sick party, ORNADEL was weicked. Howells, I wasnt expecting too much as prog is not my type of music but .. as we were heading out we passed by KH and just couldnt leave, the music made our feet move by themselves :eyes:. - Endlesswave where did you go? :p
Greets to all the TAz I bumped into, always a pleasure to party with you. Did you guys end up goin to Nat's place? Sorry we didnt end up going, Ben's bed was calling him as soon as we got to the car :haha:

Well it is 12:00pm on Monday and I just woke up!
This weekend was one that will go down in history for me.
THE DANNY HOWELLS DOUBLE HEADER!!!
Friday Night: Left Toronto around 8:00pm and arrived in Montreal to pick up our free tickets for Howells 12 HOUR SET @ ARIA (Yes 12 hours. Danny was on when walked in the club and started with a groovy house blend of beats. I imagine it must be hard to mix and plan for a 12 hour set but he did well. Around 4 it really started picking up, darker progressive, driving beats started to fill the air. The crew that joined us for the marrathon did well to keep the dance floor packed and moving till the lights came on, and even then Danny Still played right till the 12th hour. BEST PART OF THE NIGHT = Near the end of Danny's Set ahlamalek (From the Montreal Forum) pulled be up behind the booth to meet my favorite DJ and I raised Dannys hands to the harcores left in the crowd! Amazing night and that was only the first of two. Very special thanks goes to ahlamalek for something I will never forget!
Saturday Night: After returning from Monrteal we met up with the rest of the marrathon troopers and made our way to Kool Haus to by- pass the line and walk right in. Now after hearing one of the best sets I have ever heard the night before I knew the duo of Creamer and Stphane had their hands full. All I can say about their set was BRUTAL. A Lap Top? No head phone were even used!!! Give me a break....and to top it off WHO SPINS - New York, New York, the song is a year old!!! I can honestly say I didn't expect them to be any better than the last time I saw Creamer. Brutal.
Danny Howells comes on to an energetic crowd. Smiling and waving to the crowd as he always does. Started off on a mediocore pace laying down some flawless mixes and getting the crowd warmed up for the hard set that awaited. He slammed down some wicked techno/progressive beats that still had me going after 45 hours of no sleep. Finally at around 5:00am I had to call it a weekend.
Had a quick chance to speak with Tara and Matt to tell them about my amazing night before and let them know they were missed. Also FINALLY Met Special K. Great to meet you man, sorry if I was a little sketchy but I hope I made sense. Also brushed by Mecha and trancearmada, good seeing you lads.
Anyways glad to hear those of you who came to see Danny had a blast, and cheers to the DJ of DJ's..... |

Guy and creamer kicked ass!
kept running back and forth, but then i just couldnt leave guy so i stayed in the guv, he played hard, it was nice for a change in the guv |
