YO that's ed up .... we parked behind your friend at that lot. When we were leaving ... I saw your friend and the cop wrapping things up. I hope everything is ok with your buddies car. |

WTF ... I miss this part of your review. Sorry to hear that :( Matt was worried about the car when I bumped into him in the GUV. I hope everything is ok now.

sorry to hear about your cars guys.. happens sometimes.. but hte attendants should be responsible.. .. isnt that why your paying a portion of that money.. to have your car parked in a secure place?

| Guy Ornadel destroyed the Guv. with wicked banging/uplifting trance. The is one of the best sets I heard all year long. I was prepared to hear a good set from Guy, but he ended up blowing me away. I could not stop dancing, I didn't even want to go to the washroom, so I held it in. What a night!! Great seeing all the TAs there, you guys always help to make the party more intimate. Overall 10/10! |

Yup, Tordan and I were chillin at his car b4 goin in and we saw some guy (Probably the same dude you are talking about) about to break into one of the cars infront of us. He passed us and didnt see us, he kept looking around to see if anyone was lookin. When he was about to pull something out of his bag, he spotted us and went down and faked being sick and vomitting, then took off like nothing happened. |

What a fantastic weekend it turned out to be. So good in fact that I've been left speechless... literally. Those at the after party can attest to that. But despite minor set backs (which seemed to be the theme of the weekend) I continued to party the way it should be done... All out! And enjoyed every minute of it.
As soon as I walked in I knew it was gonna be a good night. Addy, who normally doesn't do it for me was playing music that immediately had me moving. But mission 1 was to find ppl so off the the main room I went. As per usual instead of finding others others found me as I walked through the crowd - the advantages of being the beacon!
Surounded by friends the party had now begun! Mark was finishing his opening set which as per usual was the perfect floorfiller set. Then all of a sudden (earlier than I expected) Mr. Ornadel was on the decks. This was the 4th time I have been lucky enough to be blown away by this trance master. And everytime he does not fail me! He had the crowd worked up into a fevered frenzy on many occasions and took us on a journey through the many facets of trance. Hearing the Armin remix to as the rush comes was an absolutely incredible moment. He dropped so many killer tracks but unfortunetly my state of mind wasn't at a point where I could remember tracks.
My only disappointment was I only caught a little of Howells' set. Saw enough though to finally see what all the fuss is about. The man has skillz and you can tell he loves to perform. The crowd was loving him and he was loving em back but came bearing gifts for us all... Sick, Dirty Hard house music.
My night ended in the Guv main room though. Mark Oliver TOTALLY killed that closing set. He played so damn hard (where Guy left off). I wasn't sure how half the crowd could be left standing but even at 7 am the place was fairly full with most people going insane. When the music stopped ppl would not let the night end. So Mark decided to commit murder by music by playin Igor S - Boomerang, I was left a mangled mess.
Leaving to find out Marg and Ray's car being towed and later about Matts' car being broken into was definetly a downer. Best of luck to Tara and Matt in recovering stolen goods.

| Wow! Ornadel for the second time ownage. Pure ing ownage. First walk into KH with my friend Sean and his buddy Ralphie who was a first time partier at an event like that. Was cool, ran into Tara and Matt in the entrance, was awesome seeing you guys again (sorry about what happeened:( ). Then I was supposed to meet up with another friend of mine who had never really been to party like that before (and I kept bugging her to come) so she agreed. Too bad I could never find her. Bah, too many people you know how it is. Coolest moment of hte night, running into a massive bunch of TAs near the front speakers, man you guys come out of NOWHERE! Rj, Navid (I think you were there) and Aaron, and Graham. Rj, how much would it take for you to do what you said you were going to do with the nitrogen? haha.:disbelief Met up with Ilia and his g/f also (nice to meet ya finally):) plus I also ran into this girl I used to work with which was a surprise. Mo parties like this are needed! Latta all, see you at WEMF possibly, still have to decide if I'm going.:p |

My late & quick review...
Addy wasn't really doing much for me so I pooped in my earplugs to save my ears for Howells. Creamer and K were a bit dull and flat at the beginning but picked up towards the end. When Danny came on the vibe at the front went through the roof! It never fails that my legs crap out all 4 times seeing Howells since last march! Wish I could have danced more, wicked set.
Great as usual to see Matt, Tara, Ben, Carlos (where the hell did you disappear to? I had a drink for you!), Joel, and was super cool to finaly meet and chill with some TAs and friends at teh afterparty (Nat, Dallas, Az, Tara, Matt, Ryan, Mike, Ray, Margaret, Marcin?).
Thanks Nat and Dallas for the hospitality, polysporin & bandage! I apologise for the excessive smoke, my id was in control!
Arriving to see Matt's car broken into and to hear that others got towed was a definite downer. Thanks for the lift and I hope work wasn't too drab after all that... |
