Not eeeeexactly....
Bland means its a bit boring... needs to be a bit more colourful or interesting etc...
Gradient is a blend from one colour to another... like i have overlayed in my sig u can see it from blue to green. Gradients always make good effects. |

no, it has all those colours in it but it doesnt BLEND... like fading from one colour to the other. |

well i think you had a quite nice idea with the sig, i like it:D
although u should sharpen the edges of the components in the sig a bit more coz it looks as there is kinda fog over it!!
sharpen it, make it clearer and increase contrast!!!
i donīt know what u think of changing the colours from grey to black but u could try it, ;) hope i helped u a bit :D
