Clubbing: Go solo or go in a group?? (pg. 2)

i used to go to hip hop clubs, nd everynight there used to be someting stupid happening after the night. i heard stuff like "oh he got beat up" "she got raped" "this guy is arrested" and bull like that. i just quit going to those fuked up venues.
p.s. do people go clubbing alone sometimes? i tried once but i turned back home cuz i was all nervous.:nervous: :nervous: |

| i dont have a problem going alone (just got back in fact) but it tends to get pretty boring...if u dont have that personality or look that women are looking for, u wont be hooking up with any1...and after a while just sitting around looking at everybody else in their own groups (the vast majority go with friends) gets boring... |

i used to go to Buzz all the time by myself..
no one in my group of friends likes trance. Im slowly bringing the world of trance and EDM to them, but still when i go out now its either by myself or 1 other person.
oh and to answer ur question... go to clubs with ppl if ur a girl..and if ur a guy then it doesnt matter |

im sure if a club is full of TA's then a girl could go by herself, im sure nothing wont happen to her. also a girl shouldnt go to a hip hop club by herself. |

| Thx for all the replies to my posting..it's really interesting to see the way ppl go about clubbing whether its with ppl or alone. yeah, i would have to agree, goin to a hiphop club alone if youre a girl would defintely be unsafe....i hate that kinda music, but got dragged along to a club one night.....i had NEVER been so f'n miserable at a club in my life till i went to that Tanja Club (yes, thats the name of that god-forsaken place) i smelled somoene light up weed in the place, which comes as no surprise to me. i only go to trance clubs, and at this point, as in my opening post, i dont have a choice but go alone. it does get boring and a lil depressing, i must admit, but, if the DJ playing plays a really good set (like Paul van Dyk @ Space34 6/20/03) than being alone there isn't too bad. i had hella fun despite being alone, and i actually did talk to a few ppl....i aint a pro raver but i do it anyway. my style is improvisation. i did a couple of shows for some ppl near me that night, and they seemed happy with it... ;) |

a group is always better. we always stay till the end so its not a problem of when we leave, and even if someone wanted to they couldnt they'd just have to chill and wait till the end. the onyl con i find with it is looking after people when theyre coming down...
...why i dont do the drugs:) but they would look after me if i was being sick etc.:rolleyes: |

well, because i usually have free accesses to all the clubs around, i go a little bit later than my friends. i hate their faces when they have to wait in lines and pay and i'm using the VIP access, that's why i go (only come) to clubs alone. and because i usually meet at least 5 friends in a club, i'm never lonely. if there was nobody to go with me and i'm tired of dancing etc, i simply have a chat with the staff of the club (which are mostly my friends as well:D ), but that happens quite rarely.
tho the other is with X. never use it alone, cause well i's quite ed up when everybody wants to go home already and you still got an extra dose of unuseded energy:tongue2 |

| So you got the hook up at clubs eh? that's way cool...yeah you shouldnt be lonely then....itd be nice if i had it that way, but as for my clubbing, i have to fend for myself from 8/31/03 on.... |

so it's solo en mio...
