| As of today, I'm still goin' to Space34 alone...Ain't expecting anyone to come along or ask to go with me...still no surprise to me. I'm still gonna have hella fun on 11/22 tho. |

I almost always go alone. I find it's fine as long as there's some booze and ppl dancing.
I often know a few ppl there, but if I don't it's usually ok, better then staying home alone. |

| As of today, I am exactly 7 days from my next club event, PvD @ Space Miami, 11/22. I am planning on going alone, but a certain relative of mine wants to go with me. Now, I said, sure he can come, but unless he can make money appear out of thin air, I'm sure I'll be going alone. No way in hell I'd pay 1 penny for his bitch ass. :whip: |

I'm glad I found this post.
I'm female and most of my friends who first took me EDM partying are too busy or don't want to anymore.
As of right now I'm missing Christopher Lawrence spin! I also missed Mauro P the other week! I really wanna go by myself but I just feel scared and also weird.
I need to find some LA party buddies!
So if I'm really desperate.. maybe soon.. I'll go by myself..as of right now.. I need to go with peeps. |

First off, welcome to TA, Karen.
Second, sorry to hear you missed a Mauro show last week and are missing a show now. I go alone cuz I have no choice. (Read the beginning of this thread.) But you're a girl: it should be a little easier to coax one of your guy friends to take you. I'm not tryin to be sexist or anything. I know if I knew a girl that wanted to go to an event that I liked, I'd take her. I don't blame you for being nervous for going alone. One trick that could work is if you offer to pay for someone to go with you, cover them the whole night, but that is, if you have enough cash. I did that last year 7/26/02, and oh , that was the greatest night of my life....:D
There is a regional forum for Cali, so maybe you can make some new psrty pals thru there and go to the next event with them. :) Best of luck with that. |
