Clubbing: Go solo or go in a group?? (pg. 6)

| Well, it's been 22 days since someone replied to this thread, my thread. Next month, I am planning on going to Space/Venue34 on the 22nd to see Paul van Dyk. More than likely, I will be going alone. This is not by choice: I don't have anyone or know anyone to go with. That will not stop me from going there, however, to have a great time and get drunk till I puke. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll meet up with some TA's there? Who knows for sure... |

i've gone to clubs alone, i dont really mind it. usually i end up running into somebody that i know, or i meet a couple new people. i know a couple djs in my area so sometimes i can hang out in or near the booth, which leads to meeting people. but i would rather go out with one or two other people that are into the scene/ music.
darkangel, have fun at PvD, i would go but i live mad far away. next time he comes to avalon boston, i'll be there, with or with out a crew |

| well you can do whatever you want!i mean is cool to go alone without anyone to bagging you and i am sure that each time your are going alone to a club alone you have the chance to meet and talk with other people there and believe me this is not so hard to do!in the other hand is cool to go with your best friend or 2friends of you but not with the whole country or something!its ok to go with friends of you because you can party together,dancing together and when the event finished you can share your memoments together!in the other hand is so annoying sometimes when you are going with more than 2 people is really hard to contact with all of them to gather then all of them to one place etc!!!its your choise in the end!!! :D |

i usually like to go with someone, because the closest clubs that actually book good dj's are at least 2 hours away. it's always nice to be there with friends, but i usually end up spending alot of time roaming around by myself and meeting new people anyway.
if i really want to go see a dj and none of my friends can go, i don't let that stop me! i go, and i have a blast, and always end up meeting lots of cool people.
either way i have a blast! |

| Last year, when I was going to see DJ Tiësto on 8/17/02 at ClubSpace for the very first time, I had begged a friend to go with me. Mind you, this was the only person I knew at the time who was old enough to go. I offered to pay for him: for his entrance, everything. I didn't want to go alone. I wanted someone to chill with, to have fun with, you know? He couldn't. That weekend, I happened to get sick; a damn cold. I went to the club alone regardless. 2 nights later would be 8/19/02, Sasha @ Crobar. I knew I wouldnt find anyone to go with so I didnt bother trying, and I went alone. From that time on I decided to myself, go alone if need be, but don't let solitude prevent me from having fun. As 11/22 draws near, I'm sure that I'll be going alone....nothing new to me. |

| last weekend i saw a couple of guys that were alone, they seemed to be having a good time. so i dont think there isnt anything wrong with going alone. |

| i always go out in a group, but i usually end up going off on my own every now and then when im in the club, but u always end up meeting a load of people anyway. travel is alot cheaper when ur in a group as well :D |
