Clubbing: Go solo or go in a group?? (pg. 3)

I've found its not worth it flying solo to a club. Going with a group is ideal cause u can have fun with the group and then break off if u spot a honey. Only true players can work solo thing sucessfully, otherwise u end up lookin like desparate loser that doesnt have friends (not a major turn on for most girls).

I feel like a loser if I'm in a pub/club on my own.

I feel like everyone is just looking at me being like 'Look there's the tool who comes by himself'

Plus drinking / doing drugs alone just isn't right.

Well ... I mean ... I'll have a beer or two before I go meet my friends, but I can't get drunk alone.

Apparently that is not an issue with teh Orbax.

I almost always go to the club alone. Sometimes I meet some TA friends up there though. But I dont mind being by myself sometimes. I get to leave when I please, at the end of course. I just like being in control of what I want to do. But going with friends is def. cool. If theres someone else you can enjoy the music with, it makes it a better experience. As long as I get to hear some good tunes I'm happy. :D

ok this is kind of a weird question, ill ask anyways. well my best friend likes rap music, and he doesnt like to listen to trance. me is the opposite. now if i want to go to a trance club, theres no point bringing him with me bcuz he will most likely get bored. so my question is, if i was to come alone to a TA event, how long will it take to make new freinds during that night? :)

heres a better idea why dont u go to 107...in the small room they play hip hop and house

I notice there are hardly any TOTA responses here... so I'll represent.

Once in a while I do hit it up with a friend (sometimes a TA friend). There's a ridiculous number of TOTA clubbers though, I think over 100 registered and over 50 that I've met, so it's practically guaranteed that I'll see at least 5 or 6 people that I know, and we can hang out and bust a move when we feel like it, or break it off whenever. There's no pressure, since we all came separately.

Also at the campus pub here, sometimes I'll go alone - I despise the music, but I just know tons of people here on campus, so I just go, find some people, chill with 'em, find some more people, chill with 'em, etc. And get drunk, since I go on the cheap drink nights.

Sometimes it sucks if I can't find anyone, but usually I do, and it's funny when there's a TA night (or just a massive event when a lot of us are out partying), people go "what the hell, how do you know all these people??"

So... ain't nothing wrong with going alone, if you're familiar with the regular crowd (or part of the crowd). It can be a lot more fun than groups. And I'm hardly a social butterfly - lots of people at clubs (here at least) are just friendly.
