Sorry guys, we are very late with the promotions on this event.

Yes it will be at Palazzos. It is part of a fundraiser for John Nunziata who is running for mayor of Toronto. He supports club culture which is why he has chosen to use a club event as a fundraiser for his campaign.

The admission will be tax deductable, therefore you will receive most of it back when doing your taxes.

We will try and get all the info up for everyone ASAP.

What happend to progressive music? seems like it is all trance and techno. We felt left out. Palazzio have 2 rooms so book other room for progressive/tribal/nu-school breaks.

For that, you can probably go to any of the other 10 billion prog events in Toronto that night. :p

Plus I see you know your Palazzo geography well... heh.

ummmmmmmmmmmmm Art...I don't think it was meant in that way. Besides there most likely are going to be prog dj's there, Ivals for one can spin prog, and I'm sure they will not do trance Allllllllllllllllll night, have to spice it up with some variety...

mecha is right, there are lot's of TA's that wanna hear progg too, so telling us to off (no in those words, but still) does not make us feel like a part of this community no does it... and than everyone bitches that TA is falling apart, that is exactly the why

Perhaps I am blonde AND blind, but who alluded to telling you to off?

There have been numerous progressive DJs spin at TA and related events, and prog is probably one of the better represented genres in this city, with nights like Breathe and spin Saturdays. Trance and techno are certainly down there at the bottom, however.

spice things up with prog? surely u must be kidding!!!

Dude, Chill out. I wish they Had UK HArd house events in TO too but I know it will be a while for that to happen. Some day there will be dw. Some scenes, likes prog, that are more popular in other cities/countries also did not get popular over night. Be PAtient Art, one day this city will have prog events and have all prog/tech events. It all takes time. take care :)

PUH-LEEEEEZE...

You don't see me asking for a jungle room, or Jeff asking for a techno room, do you?

 to that "part of the community" comment... as IF that would be the reason why TA is "falling apart" (which it isn't, I can't understand that comment either).

What a ridiculous discussion this has turned into... there's more than enough prog to go around, and just because you like a certain kind of music doesn't mean that they have to provide it. It's a trance event, this is trance addict, if you don't like it, don't go!!

Allow me to second all that.

dude honestly, I've been told by someone  (not you) on this board that apparently my opinion is not more valid that yours even though I've been a part of this community longer than you have.

How would either of your opinions be "more valid" than the other's?
I don't believe that solely by having been a member of TOTA/TA for a few years, you've automatically got the upper hand on all newer members.

   yeah me wonders too!

lol... For goodness sake. That was not an attempt at shooting you down, m'dear. You seem to have taken it far more personally than needed.

There's a lack of reading in between the lines here. And, Art, I was not talking about you in specific. I don't know you. I don't know your lack or excess of knowledge of music, etc.
You as used in my former reply, did not = trancearmada. I'm talking about TA members in general.
